I put in for 500 zen, not sure exactly what day, but with the weekend here again, I know it's pushing two weeks now. What they need to do is add an AD sink, make the reroll tokens AD purchase or something.
In the last thread, people said they'd been waiting for about 15 days before it got filled. The ZAX has actually gone down a bit in the meantime, so I'm guessing it'll take about the same amount of time. Around two weeks.
The good news is, the Zax seems to be starting to stabilize. The backlog is slowly dropping. Considering that everyone predicted that the Zax backlog would surge higher with the new module. A slow and steady reduction is pretty amazing.
Hopefully, once the newness of the module wears off, the rate of reduction will continue to speed up.

I've been waiting for 20k zen since the 1st and I got today the first 5k like an hour ago.

Or it's stabilizing the same way a corpse's temperature stabilizes at room temperature. Just saying. I don't necessarily think it stabilizing is a good thing with no actions having been taken to stabilize it.

I also made an offer for 334 on August 11 at 11pm (PST). It went through this morning at 3:18am. Bummer part, was it was the 334 I accidentally sold on the 1st. (thought I was buying another 334, but was on the wrong tab). Two weeks later, I got it back. I still need a bit more to get the SW pack, I'll keep waiting.
The backlog isn't only slightly. It down about 2% from it's high of 13.5 Million. But I guess it's directionally correct.
I have 4 of my draws from about a week ago filled the other day. Now my listings are full again and I'm still waiting. Going on about a week since the first one.
The biggest problem is the lack of cool/interesting ad sinks. I was going to buy zen, and sell it for AD. Until I realized "What the hell do I need AD for?" Lockbox mounts are so ridiculously priced that it'd cost to much zen to AD to buy, and there's nothing else worth buying with AD that I can't farm.
I don't understand why the backlog is going down NOW.
It is the start of a Mod and there is the Dragonborn and Warlock packs in the ZEN Store. And yet these is a small but observable decrease in the ZEN backlog.
Maybe the devs are filtering through the exploited AD and anyone who wasn't smart enough to transfer it already is getting deleted? Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.

Maybe, but the amount the ZAX fell is very, very small compared to the rate at which it was rising when the AD exploit was in full flow. So perhaps, but I think it is unlikely.
I think some people might be getting so pissed off at the backlog time (maybe 3 weeks now) that they are just buying ZEN for the two packs with real money rather than going through the ZAX.

Yeah that sounds more realistic. People are probably pulling bids to just buy the zen with real money.
A lot of the exploited AD was duplicated months ago and has filtered into innocent players.
Are you suggesting a 6-month rollback?
What are you talking about? Re-read what I wrote. First off, the latest AD exploit wasn't six months ago. And I said "Anyone who wasn't smart enough to transfer it" Obviously if it filtered out, then they were smart enough to transfer it.

Well, my orders from the 2nd just got filled today....si it's close to a 2-week wait now.
I don't understand why the backlog is going down NOW.
It is the start of a Mod and there is the Dragonborn and Warlock packs in the ZEN Store. And yet these is a small but observable decrease in the ZEN backlog.
As I have tried to explain again and again, but the "I know greater than thou" types keep telling me I'm "RONG, GTFO". I am a Zen Purchaser (cash) and I sometimes sell my Zen for Astral Diamonds (I also grind AD, but not in a crazy way). I never sell AD for Zen - so when I speak about it I am always speaking from the selling Zen-for-Astral Diamonds side, and I've been saying this:
I have been sitting on 40k Zen because AD value is nil in the AH based on prices there lately. Hell no. However, here is what is changing for me: a Zen seller for AD:
1) New module brings new enchantments, artifacts, etc. I will need some AD for that.
2) New race and class, I will need some gear for that (no, I don't grind Delves or do PvP - too much drama for me. So I just buy what I can if the price is fair - based on Zen value, which is constant.)
3) New Professions that require AD and I'll want to grind some for this.
I am here to have FUN, not WORK. So I don't just grind for things if I can get it faster, easier, cheaper in the AH. I do love skirmishes, and I do 'grind' Skirmish event a few times a week and I do "grind" Leadership. That gets me a lot of AD - enough for things like Enchantment upgrading etc. But if I want something in the AH (Gear, etc.) - I'll just buy the AD.
So what I'm saying is there are a lot of people who do the same thing. No, people like me are not the majority, but we're a lot. And it's the "rather just buy it than work for it" crowd who are the primary ones wanting to buy your AD. Why do we want all that AD? Auction House. Auction House prices are starting to come DOWN, making the value of AD better, in-turn beginning to equalize with the value of Zen.
So I bought a truckload (10k Zen to buy AD is nothing to sneeze at, even if it's just a drop in the overall bucket).
As I've said before and been debunked many times: the only guaranteed "fix" is patience and time - obviously I'm talking about when things work the way they *should*. I'll go stand over here on the side and just hold my breath until someone actually says "Hey, that patience and time thing? Kinda works" - I suppose I'll be dead before that ever happens though. LOL

So if you put in your order when it was a 13 million backlog you could well be looking at a 20 day wait.
Hopefully, once the newness of the module wears off, the rate of reduction will continue to speed up.
