i nothice new build trs have since mod 4
was even popular to some extend on mod 3.
its trs that run around looking for easy kill
never go for 1v1 if not 100% sure they will win
avoid solo caping like a plaq but they are realy fast to be there if someone cleared the cap to take the points.
they only care for death to kill ratio and reach 300 cap points in time
win lose is easy to fix anyway
just won 1000 to 200 game enemy tr had 18 kill 0 death i never saw they guy just his bait
but i must admit its only viable way of playing now
permas have realy hard time i must admit im realy carefull not to leave stealth if cw is close
and non permas have no chance to survive against any half decent cw,gf,hr
even pve cw can beat tank tr easy
so there we go run around tr it is
never cap, never dies, never loses and best of all never fights for real
on the bright side competition will not complain much
if they stand on cap(or even near it) they are safe
This has been the popular and growing trend. Even before there were leader boards. It was worse when TR's could actually 1 , 2, or 3 shot someone vanish run away get potion come back do it again.
I have nothing but disgust for any people that play this way. It is incredibly selfish, there is no other way to put it.
It only benefits yourself, no one on your team. It actually benefits the other team more so than it even does yourself. Because after all Kills and Deaths don't win. It's all about the points.
Since I actually try to back cap or push or stay on a node to contest and die a lot, I usually have people telling me I am a newb. The thing is most of these people are the ones that go with the FoTM builds that come and go.
The first to hit the forums asking "What do I do now daddy?" when the OP builds get "balanced".
So over all we can't just say that TR's are the only ones doing this. A lot of players do this, and a lot of players lose matches. But their K/D ratio makes it seem like they are good or know what they are doing. Anyone who is actually good at this games still ridiculously imbalanced PVP understands when they run across someone who is actually good.
Someone who fights to the last breath *EFFECTIVELY* is what we are looking for.

Question number 1: Have you thought about about 95% of the TR players that are not on pages 1-20? You judge people by your own measue which is very subjective based on your skill.
Question number 2: Do you realy naively believe in chivalous combat style of a rogue? Seriously? This class is ment to be a scavanger because of how it is designed and nerfed right now (for the majority of the population).
Question number 3: With the current skill set that IS usable in PVP you realy think we are not scavangers?
Question number 4: Have you seen a single MMO that have PVP aspect, where ganking 3+v1, respawn ganking, stealth scavanging, kill farming is not a viable way of unlocking content?
For the record, when it comes to PVP people will ALWAYS use the means and tactics they CAN apply. Not everyone finished their boons, have above 10k gearscore and can afford enchants r7+. Think of it next time you will say you are disgusted. It's close-minded fanatics and self estime proclamers that frighten me more than cowards.

You missed the point entirely..
The OP was refering to the TR who was never capping (except the first few requisite) (it is a domination match btw) and ONLY cares about k/d ratio.. roaming around the map looking for easy kills. It is not meant to criticize TR's way of playing, which revolves around stealth.. but when it is used in such a distasteful way, we are clearly disgusted.. You are never seen, never get hit.. and not contributing to the party much...
What do you think about a 18-0 k/d ratio of such player if in the end the party lose 1000 : 200 ?
This doesnt just apply to TR (chasing kills), but to all classes as well.. TR just have more / better means in applying such method
i was talking abouth high geared tr with bis gear running around not low gs ones
low gs noobie tr is just worst place to be right now .tr
is the class that requires most skill and experience
Maybe we are playing other game cause as far as i've seen HR are the biggest kill stealers. I've seen many ninjas who run around on pillar upper somewhere and stealing kills only, don't help at all. If i could i would kick those useless right away. Now CW can do it too due to op power. It's just easy mode freeze to death and kill. They have insane range, insane damage. Just win class.

Im a Stealth Whisperknife r5/r6+vorpal+bark... you want to know what I do? I will give you one strategy....I toss dagger at CW and HR unleash my WoB in the middle of team fight and score double and triple kills or zone them out isnt that contributing?
I myself got my DOMINION CHAMPION title winning matches 18 kills 0(ZERO) DEATHS!..... etc... etc

...except I see premade level guys doing the same shi* all the time, and every other person is busy "praising" how that person is so "unkillable" and "smart" in how he chooses his fights.
So that being said, how does anyone judge just what exactly should be done and not?
If we take the opposite point of view, such way of "hit&run" may very well be what the TR should have been in the first place, and perhaps the way we're used to seeing TRs as being the invincible node-runners that we once were, dancing in the midst of 2~3 enemies on a single node to disrupt enemy score-gathering single handedly, maybe this was something overboard.
In any case, I don't think anyone has any right to call anyone else 'opportunistic', since the term is in many cases what simply defines PvP itself. Even in the case described above.
Honestly, I'm sort of smelling a change coming, that the days of TR back-noding is about to end soon. If the developers let things slide with the CWs, and if their "Tyranny of the CWs" continues, then it is only a matter of time where people begin to figure that staying with your team, being the "opportunistic executioner" to disrupt enemy CWs in the back lines of the fighting formation.. might actually become more important than back-noding.
We're still the best class to harass and disrupt CWs when a big fight happens. If the team can manage it without you, then you'd be wanting to do the same back-noding, but if not, then the team's going to need you "running around" the rear quarters of the enemy formation to keep bothering the CWs from attacking others. Otherwise a team that loses a "who brings the bigger magic cannon" fight is just bound to be eradicated from any node they try to contest.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

I can totally agree on this. As it stands now, the high burst cookie-cutter TR is the only class that could really chase off a CW. Any CW who has enough wits to use Steal Time can pin down and permafreeze the permaTR. And with Warlocks...well permas are becoming more and more...impractical.

TR HATERS is love
I LOVE YOU hahaha!
i can kill you with a hand on the keyboard and using the touchpad as mouz
Don't get me wrong. I am by no means saying that seizing an opportunity as it arises in combat is stupid/selfish/bad. Seizing opportunities as you see them is what I mean when I say *EFFECTIVELY* fighting til the end. Putting pressure on CW's and HR's in the back is obviously good to do.
I see high level players do it too and it only helps to exacerbate the situation. It is over glorifying the wrong part of a Domination match.
Yes it is good to be able to kill and not die. But not at the cost of never helping cap or defend, push or delay.
The main topic was about players (he said TR's, but I see all classes do this) who run around doing nothing but trying to get Killing Blows and avoid dying at all costs. They will come and help cap a node when it is already cleared off and well on its way to being flipped. Never try and stay to hold a point or push up to delay the enemy team from contesting. They Instead run away to safety as nodes get flipped. And start looking for the easy kill again. Someone who drops in to the fight to steal the last hit on an enemy who is almost dead and then runs away, this is not good. Unless they are running away to cap/contest/defend.
There is nothing wrong with a Hit and Run play style, just as there is nothing wrong with a perma-stealth play style or whatever you want to do. I am staring to think TR's are being forced into a "harasser" role. It is the one thing we are still very capable of. It is getting harder and harder to rely on our murderous strengths, because they keep diminishing. You can use any build effectively for team combat, you can also use any build selfishly and horribly. It's just that Domination doesn't care how many times you kill or die or assist really. If you win, you win. Could die 40 times and still win. Could kill 40 times and die 0 times and still lose. It's all about contesting and flipping , pushing and delaying.
The scoreboards should really expand to show and include Time contested, Times Defended, Times Capped, Healing and the like.
My 2 Mains have always been CW (first character sense beta) and TR(second character) all others aren't even level 60 because I don't enjoy their play style. Now that CW's are way too easy mode I am pretty much forced to play TR.
I am by no means saying that playing a rogue in a stealthy hit and run matter is what makes a player bad. It is how they put it to use within a match at any given moment. If they keep taking away our murdering tools, they need to give us a much larger and diverse bag of tricks to choose from.
