So on July 31st I put up an offer of 2.5 million AD for 5,000 Zen, the problem is it has been 13 days now and I have yet to get my ordered Zen.
Has this happened or has been happening to anyone else? or did I do something wrong?
Also it shows that I put up my offers in the exchange log.
Any explanation will be much appreciated.

I'm sure I am wasting time posting, but I wonder how much of that backlog is from accounts with 5X 5000z requests.
If it is a lot-
If they temporarily limited each account to one active exchange request at a time, and rejected the existing offers beyond that, it might mean more people could get their lunch and help to get it all flowing again. (You could post another request as soon as your active one was filled.)
Yeah I know that is not enough to fix the problem.. but it might help some of the waiting players to feel like they are getting somewhere.
I don't use it, but I can imagine how frustrated I might be if I did.

This isn't a bad idea actually.
I don't think any single in-game purchase requires more than 5000 ZEN so this idea definitely seems to be worth considering.
The backlog is somewhere around 14 days. I think there are several reasons for this.
Gond made a lot of people a lot of ad. I made over 500k the first night alone. The people that made this money selling things, likely put the ad right into the ZAX to prepare for mod4.
At the same time the new security policy went into effect preventing some people from selling zen. So less zen was going into the backlog to help clear it.
In 1 more day mod4 will go live and there will be a SW booster pack from my understanding. Even more people will try to get zen and I expect the backlog to double again to about a month wait.

it seems the people who are not receiving zen are those who posted for the max (5k) maybe there is an issue with requesting that much at once?
ZAX is first in, first out. 5000 zen postings may not get totally filled by one order. You'll get, say 1378 zen on one order, and the remainder as zen trickles in.
It's possible it's changed. I currently have purchase orders for 20k zen dated 8/1. If anyone 8/2 gets their zen before me there's something in what you say.
true but someone yesterday posted about a 5000 zen order that should have been filled already but wasn't. I think there was another record of that as well but dont remember for sure.

I've placed numerous orders for 5000 around the 26th-28th that have not been filled yet. (not even partial fulfillments).
We really need a screenshot of your ZAX log then so we can prove there is a bug to the devs and get it fixed.
My current zax log says "You have never made a listing on the exchange", yet I have 5 orders for 5000 at 500. I have had this bug before and the orders did get filled.
so it looks like the same Bug that iambecks saw yesterday. It looks like there may be a bug with 5000 zen orders (or at least to me it does).
If you say add another order for say a single zen does it add to the log or at least make it visible?
5 is the most orders it lets you put up and you can't tell which one is the earliest (I've tested top vs bottom and sometimes it puts it up top, sometimes on the bottom).
My offer is coming in by portions.
I received 2.5k Zen 20 minutes ago.
and I just received 1k Zen like 5 minutes ago.
So im preety sure my order should be completed by tomorrow. now I can get that rebirth token I did the exchange for tomorrow
For everyone saying to raise the zen cap, that's a horrible idea. Raising the zen cap, makes it so people will want outrageous amounts of zen. New players will look at the cost to buy zen, and go "That'll take way to long just to buy some crappy little item. Not playing this game) The people hoarding the zen will have no one to play with.

Actually, the zen hoarders requesting to raise the cap only have profit in mind. After the cap gets raised the thought would be "If I hold out some more, the cap will be raised again... and again... and again..." So raising the cap will not get more zen released into the market.
Raising the cap will lead to inflation though. As the cost of zen items go up, people will want to earn more money on their sales to compensate. And people would pay more ad for items, because if they can not afford zen, they will accumulate more ad.
While the idea to limit zen requests to a single offer on the exchange sounds interesting, the best idea I have heard to stop flipping zen is to limit the sale price of items on the AH... A 1000z fashion item can be sold for no more than 550,000 ad. (1000z * 500zax rate, + addl 10% for the AH cut.) This way people can use or sell items they buy with zen, but they will not profit from flipping.
The only other way I know to manage the backlog is to make it worthwhile to have ad. This is where the idea of AD sinks comes into play. (and there are plenty of areas discussing this in the forums...)

I'm not sure the 10% should be added in there. 500,000 is where it should probably be set. That way if zen is capped at 500 their best option is to use the ZAX which benefits them and everyone else.
Comments
or.. allow the zen to float, so there would be a actual incentive to post cash zen for digital farmed money.
Otherwise, there is none.
If you ignore the fact that instead of people rebuying then, it'd be the ones buying from the ah that will use the exchange, then yes it may.

This, of course. However, I'm not ready for debate #362 on the topic.
