Control Wizard encounter: Repel

Although there was an update on this skill earlier, the push affect of Repel can still be nulled out, even if it is not deflected. It has happened on every type of person and in every circumstance, but I can't find a valid reason why it doesn't push people on occasion. It happens about 20-40% of the time on the preview shard, where an update was made on it making the push effect non-deflected, but I think the root of the problem doesn't involve deflecting the damage.

    I think we may have found the cause of this, but it will probably not make it for release as it is not an easy or safe fix.

    An unsafe fix sounds glorious ... if only to mess about with on the test shard :)

    What might happen? Repel now pushes you and the target away? Repel pushes until the target hits a barrier? Repel pushes the target upwards so they take falling damage too?

    Wow , that would be awesome , just like Halo 2 when you parked the Warthog on top of a bunch of plasma grenades , up up and awayyyyyy .

    Well i experienced this with dwarfs only .

    Everything is doable, I am sure you can master that challenge ;)
    Suggestions to improve NW:
    - Dualspec
    - Better rewarding foundry and foundry pvp maps
    - Custom PvP leagues with leaderboards instead of the current 'matchmaking'.
    - Armory
    - make jumping cost stamina (to reduce hopping in pvp)
