Item Devs,

Please consider making this item permanent. Sort of like a companion but dont turn it into one. Just make it like a little puppy that follows you around the world. Its a shame because its a cool social item. And 30 seconds for the amount of AD it costs and the time you need to put in is a bit silly.

It doesnt hurt to make it permanent (least i dont think so) and adds more social items which this game really lacks. This is a perfect item to keep around. I know for some this is probably a worthless item but its the kind of thing that many gaves thrive on in their item stores (Look at The Secret World as an example.. mostly fashion items that do nothing).

    I second that motion!
    Just look at the number of players in Champs that collected Action Figures.
    In fact, making more of these little critters could actually serve to pull just a bit of the excess A.D. out of the market.

    indeed, before buying it, I saw it said "30 sec cooldown" so I figured it would have unlimited uses, but I was very disappointed when I saw it had just 1 use :/

    Should Stay permanent and stay till you zone. No real reason for it to have a timer if its perma. If they are serious about killing the extra AD around, these little items are better than the large 3m - 10m ones. Not everyone wants to spend a large amount but they will buy 10 of these for their alts.

    Ugh I can't believe it isn't permanent , I thought it was like the 'crashin thrashin racer' from WoW , 30 second temp item lol.....

    So if it is 1 use only, what is that "cooldown" doing? Except of misleading players to make them waste resources on it ofc.

    The announcement does state "This one time use item". I do agree that it should be permanent though. The little social pets in STO were good and I'd hoped that this would be one for Neverwinter.

    Agreed. I thought they were permanent. I'd like one watch while
    I'm waiting for the next Heroic quest to pop up. :)

    Yeah Complete bummer its a temp item. :( I won't bother with this one even though I usually love lil gadgets, I only pay with the perm ones. :P

    1. It should be permanent, not consumable
    2. It should last until you leave a zone, die, or recast it
    3. It should pick up all forms of currency for you(black ice, gold, tokens, etc.)

    Doubt we'd get a perm one this time, it's also pretty cheap to make for a perm one. I wish there was a perm version though.

    I just made one while I was trying the drop rate of the mount on preview and I'd love a perma version of it , especially if it could pick up loot as was suggested above , also it would have to be immune to agro , WoW has similar toys and at first they could drag half a dungeon to you until they patched it out lol

    It would be far too good for its cost if it was made a permanent continuous pet.

    However, perhaps they could have it last a day (in-game), or last 5 minutes but with a very long cooldown - maybe 24 hours or even 7 days.

    Have you used one.. it does nothing. Literally. Its just kind of cute and social. It looks like a tiny cute lobster/roach that runs randomly over the map. Doesnt even follow you, does its own thang.

    Item DEVS!!- I know mod 4 is around the corner..deadlines are crazy. Perma please. I want my roach forever! Will feel just like I'm home in NYC.
