Leaderboard Drama ~ Reset Yay or Nay

Or do you think it will just revert back to the same overpowered classes being in the top pages? I for one am excited to have my KD ratio cleared and start with a clean slate. I lost and died a lot from my Banner days.

    IMO they should each time some class gets overhaul or gets major nerf.

    Its really funny how despite dozens of players on the top 5 pages of the leaderboard being banned for glitching their stats, they were merely given a slap in the wrist and got to keep their characters, leaderboard rankings and any rewards they've obtained.

    The reset will come, it's only a matter of time. However I'd prefer to wait till they introduce a season system.

    Ditch the LB altogether. The only thing good that comes from it is seeing which class is OP.

    Daily resets or even every 12 hours would be perfect I think.

    I would like to see it done away with as well.

    The integrity of it has been compromised, the data is suspect.

    It will continue to be exploited if reset, just get rid of it.

    I think that its a good idea to do it every few months, for those new people who start playing who actually care about the Leaderboard--Tho it is possible to rise to the top fast with a new character, it takes resources and a network, that new players are not likely to have both of when they first come into the system--so for people obsessed with their K/D it would be good.

    me I dont really care about it, but many friends do.

    I watched a CW and GF from a top PVP guild go at it. Both in the 18k range. The 55.5k HP GF stood no chance. He was CC'd for about two-thirds of the fight. Maybe the GF is just particularly susceptible to the new CW, but it was a joke.

    Shield is also <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> right now. If the CW has a Barkshield it is even worse.
    PSA: You don't need to grind Spinward Rise for your Elemental artifact main hand if you have some AD lying around. You can craft it via the Tyranny of Dragon's campaign screen.

    No I think the people who exploited their stats for 6 months should stay on the first 1-2 pages of the leaderboard.

    Do not reset it

    Weekly, monthly reset or something. That sounds good maybe even less of time

    The leader board ONLY works for 3 classes and premades GWF TR HR.

    CW GF DC don't have a pot to <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> in.

    Solo queue players arnt included either.

    Every once in a while you will see a DC of a CW that only runs premades that get high ranks,but they NEVER solo queue.

    Ive seen these guys wait hours to get thier perfect pvp group and if they dont find it they dont play the game.

    If you dont run those 3 classes or run a premade dont even bother looking at the leader board its ONLY for them.

    I think if you are a solo queue player you accept that you won't be as good as people who wait hours to get their perfect groups. Just like better geared players expect to do better than others.

    That said, I think something like a periodic leaderboard reset (every few months, maybe) would do a lot of good. At the very least, the current leaderboard is shady at best and should be cleared, but I think periodic resets would encourage new players into PvP and the like.
