first time in Ice wind

hello guys i have few questions about icewind.

PVP
1.do the tendency i working here?
2. do the companion bonus effct here?
3. according to what is the team (red and blue)
PVE
4. what is the point in doing all this encounter events? or heroic?
5. i am mostly a pvp player, is there any way to get some good amount of AD from this area?
6. is there any way to reduce that mobs dmg? they hit me pretty hard - mybe the black ice dmg resist?

7.are there any tips that beginners like me need to know when starting

well to answer your questions for pvp
1. yes tenacity does work in the open world pvp
2. yes you get your active bonus from non summoned companions and you can have companions out in PvP combat
3. well there are 2 factions, arcane brotherhood and ten towns, I am pretty sure during the domination whatever faction you are on will be blue and the opposing faction will be red (I may be wrong I am usually arcane brotherhood but i believe thats how it works.

and your PvE questions
4.you do the encounters for black ice(which is used to charge your black ice gear) and for the drops of ether black ice main hand or gauntlets. you aslo get crafting bits to upgrade your Black ice gear to tier 2
5.you used to be able to farm enchants for refining and selling but as of right now no not really any way to make " a lot" of AD
6. yes black ice damage resist will make you a bit less squishy
