Actually I don't find it ridiculous at all.
    All Mac users can't play.
    All Linux users can't play.
A good percentage of Windows users can't play (this one is a very big problem since is the "native" os of the game).

It feels like it's more than just a small detail to ignore.
At least for a company like Perfect World.

Why where are all the bug reports from windows users who cannot log on due to using an unsupported OS , I think you will find that windows users are having issues with their processors not an unsupported OS, like the other guy said it is ridiculous to complain about it not working on a unsupported OS and it is even more ridiculous to continue to complain even though one of the programmers has said he will try to figure out a fix , i'm guessing in his spare time you know with it being an unsupported OS .

We got a response in this Linux/WINE thread:

It looks like your hypothesis may be correct. Hopefully a fix is on the way, but not until Monday at the earliest.

oh I totally missed that post!
Good, I hope the fix comes soon :)

    That's exactly the point.
A bug is a bug. Doesn't matter where is it nor what it does.
The new content gave troubles to a lot of users, (from alla mayor OSes) probably fixing a bug signaled by a stupid Linux user will give a lot of help on fixing those found from Windows users.
I'm just trying to give a hand here, I don't get why you're taking it so personally.

Committed, merged, and waiting to be included in a release build.

As always, remember to run with 2>/dev/null to reduce all the error spam from the raw input system (this error output actually slows down your frame rate).

    Good luck!

Be happy, it's been fixed, we just have to wait for the next update, on thursday at most. :)

This fix is currently scheduled to make it to Preview later today and Live this week. Please PM me directly if you still have issues after these fixes (related to Linux).

Thanks Cliff for working on your own time to resolve this issue!
