damage meter in group content

Everytime I bring up the damage meter to check it (or the game does automatically at the end of a skirmish or dungeon) I get everything to come up, but for some reason the numbers keep moving really fast off the right side of the screen and then reset and start the process over. Basically this means I cannot read any of the numbers. Its not a big issue nor is it effecting my fun in the game, but I would like to be able to read those numbers. Not sure if this is a bug on the game side or something wrong with my install. Everything else works perfectly. I've even done the "verify game files" thing and it didn't tell me anything was wrong. Let me know if you've had a similar issue or know what might fix it. thanks.

I have your same issue and everything else works fine as in your case.
    Le-Shan: HR level 80 (main)
Born of Black Wind: SW Level 80

I think it might be related to the buggy UI scaling code. It has always done that for me, and has never been fixed- much like the broken and backwards localisation stuff. It's just one of those little quirks that you get used to :)

Oh, yes! I have reported this as well, but no fix yet.

    http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?703721-Another-Scoreboard-Glitch&p=8341611&viewfull=1#post8341611

It is annoying in that other people CAN see the scores properly. I did a lower level dungeon through the door to help out some low level Guild Mates, and they were marveling at how my DC was top of everything and his Paingiver score was three times the GWF at about 9 million. Well, the rest of them were 25 levels lower than me, with about 20% of the GS and half my Power.

But THEY could all see the numbers. When I asked them how they can read them when they fly off to the right like that, I got "Huh?" , "What?", "Just look at the scoreboard". Complete incomprehension of what I was talking about. That was when I realised there was something wrong and the numbers are NOT supposed to do that at all! DUH!! :o

Some say changing the Graphics/Video settings from default causes this, or you should use DX9 or some other setting for your card. I tried all of that and updated my drivers as well, but no fix.

I would really like this to be fixed as it is not working as intended. I do not expect my Battle Cleric DC to always top Paingiver and Executioner, and certainly my Tiefling Healer to never top either. But I WOULD like to see what their actual scores are. The Scoreboard is rammed in your face when the Boss dies, even if his deadly minions are still alive, so it might as well do what it is meant to do.

I have an AMD Radeon HD 7970 with a Dell U2410 24" 1920x1200 and the latest Catalyst.

I will admit that I do have the UI scaled to 120% normal size. Its just the text is slightly too small for me to read comfortably unless I make it a little bit bigger. I never thought this could cause that issue.

    So do I; or 115%

Otherwise, the in-game chat and everything else is just too tiny to read.

But it is STILL a bug that can and should be fixed, as you are MEANT to be able to scale the text and those numbers are NOT meant to fly off to the right; regardless of your monitor size, aspect ratio and resolution, your UI settings, Video card or Graphics settings.

This is akin to rearranging your HUD and putting the Character Icon somewhere else, and them your Encounter Icons become invisible.

    Not meant to happen.
