What's the difference?

Hello everyone, I would like to understand, what's "0" in red when you are hit, I immediately thought to dodge, but when you dodge, comes the word "dodged", and in any case the dodge does not get to 100% of intensity.

So, what's the difference between "0" and dodged"?

A "0" indicated that all the damage was negated. If you check the log it will often show up as "has done 0 (1234) physical damage". Basically you/they didn't do enough damage to get past your DR or a power such as stealth-ITC, divine exaltation or a barkshield charge absorbed all the damage.
