I'll be the first to say that I'm a total **** when it comes to DnD, but that sounds awesome! Would the Infernal Warlocks be geared more towards out lasting your enemy while DoT rots them or is there a number of directions that the Devs could have taken it?
They have DoTs, AoEs, some control, loads of damage, but wasn't superb at any of it like another class might be. Frankly, the warlock suffered in 4e from never having a solidly defined role other than "Striker". We have to see how the Neverwinter devs handle it, because there are so many ways it could go.

I want to see this spells warlock:
- Fear - victim random running (like mobs in campfire)
- Mind Control - control victim at 1st view and use him skills
- Corruption - DoT like poison
- Sacrifice - use own health (blood) for make rituals and remove % from enemy health based from your health.
- New Profession - make scrolls with powerfull spells from ingredients.
- Make book of runes with saved teleport locations. So Warlock can teleport to saved spot at open world.
- Out in Astral - warlock soul left body and attack enemies with Astral Strike.
- Exorcism - for short time enemy convert to friendly target and fighting on your side
- Steal Form - you can transform to enemy model and this enemies a short time doesn't attack you
- Make a bunch of Pentagrams - aoe, defence, buffs, heals
- Summon the portal from what's come different creatures from hell
- Telekinesis - warlock can interact with chests, doors, skill nodes, pulls, traps from a distance
- Resurrect enemy who's fighting on your side
- Create portal to near campfire/town what can be used by other players to teleport
- Debuff self for party - warlock transfer % of all stats to other party members
- Warlock solidarity - warlocks union theur powers and deal more damage/healing/something
