Black ice Gear

the black ice gear purified/corrupted its worst than Profound set for PVP..
and worst than t2 set for PVE..

soo whats the point ? someone use this? i think they only is batter in black ice dailies...
but craft a whole new gear for just daili is waste of time...

I'm missing something? whats the point is use black ise gear?

    Yes, you're missing something. Purified black ice set is the best pvp set in the game. I'm also using it in pve, combined with 2 greater overload enchants I perform miracles on my CW

    Doesn't really care about PvP to make another big Beho/Remo farm for Purified.
    We are making CWs for PVE!

    Corrupted BI weapon set seems inferior to Fomorian.

    The BI armor set needs further testing. Should Need to know the ICD on those BI enchants.

    I Disagree the new set's are acutally Miles better then profound.

    haha whata a joke.. the black ice have less tenacity and have no good bonus on using 2 pieces..

    It really depends on the class. Right now the HR Profound set is amazing. However, it's getting a nerf in Module 4, so it will no longer be BIS.

    We'll see what comes. Trace

    I was testing the TR black ice in Kessels (I know you can tell it isn't any good simply by looking at it -- but I wanted to be fair). It performs worse than even swash, although it nets a higher GS. It would be better than swash in PvP, but not better than profound (depending on the build I suppose). In three Kessel runs it also cost over 500 black ice to restore to full what was used and that seems a bit high to me and especially so considering at its highest it is worse than the earlier choices and kessels doesn't take long to do either.

    The GF sets are good but GF gear was kind of garbage to begin with...

    Corrupted set has way to little defense, may be mixing it with Purified could've been a good option.

    If your useing a gf use the parts that give hp both sets. both 2 set bonues are nice too.

    Yeah, I was gonna use Corrupted helm+arms and Purified armor+boots because of HP+ArP, but gave up on trying to get arms in IWP.

    Been playing with corrupted and it works all right. I am looking at building purified chest and boots though. Only take me another couple dozen Kessell runs and a lot of time...
