Idea for next PVP area

Can you consider making a new area in icewind dale that works like this:

Map has on each far side (west / east) 2 villages/camps 1 for each faction (TT/AB) with very strong guards that can 1 shot players. These 2 villages/camps will work as the safe zones for this map. vendors for pvp/pve pots etc will be in each village/camp as well as postal courrier (and hopefully a bank although i doubt u will add another bank outside of PE).
when u exit the village/camp through a gate or something it will flag you for pvp for the whole map (deflagging = return to faction's village/camp same border in entrance of village/camp no need to be closer to campfire).
inside the village/camp for each faction there will be daily quest givers (get items / do this/that / kill monsters etc) and also big hunt contract givers asking you to kill with ppl from your faction bigger enemies for extra rewards (for example black ice beholders , black ice dragons, black ice whatever as long as they are harder than normal enemies there and essentially require a faction group to be killed).
So basically the whole map is open pvp which is tons of fun and it will be much more populated for open pvp than trying to find an instance in IWP / DV with enough ppl from both factions for balanced open pvp (it is either too empty or one sided blood bath).
The population of the instances can work like this : filling first instances till a cap (the number you know works without much lag) while balancing out the factions. for example if the cap is at 200/instance then it should fill (while balancing factions) until it gets 100 AB + 100 TT then make the next instance.
You can also have special domination there with more than 3 points. a big one at center of map (equal travel distance from each village/camp) and several smaller ones.
You should take into consideration also that guild will need to have its members together mostly so it should facilitate populating using guildies/friends criteria as well.
Awaiting your positive/negative comments/consideration/opinions.
Thanks for your time.

No offense, but if oPVP has shown anything, then that this playerbase is overwhelmingly PVE and the devs should adjust accordingly.

I'm still a strong supporter of any competitive environment within the current Domination/GG/IWD, but no more major PVP content (change) for now.

    Thanks.

I'm all for condensing the PVP zones into a few areas so groups of people would easily find each other.

The current setup of Open World PVP is stupid, wasteful and largely unappealing.

Lack of participation in bad content doesn't say anything about the player base. It says something about the bad content being bad. Most dedicated PVP players I've seen speak on the issue don't like oPVP for various reasons either.

Makes no difference to me to be honest. Lack of participation leads to lack of playerbase, because displeased players will start to search for alternatives eventually.

I would like to see a true ranking system before making a final judgement about PVP population, but right now I consider it slim. PVP queues are another hint. A strict system didn't work out because it couldn't match players in a reasonable time, which led to the mess we have now in Domination.

OPVP is ok, but for some classes we need to change our set ups around all the time. As a GF I need to tank content and out live mobs to complete quests, however that set up don't work in PVP so I cannot just jump into OPVP I need to stop change tactics, encounters gear etc...

Some classes can use the same burst set ups and gear in pvp as pve so these are the classes predominantly you will find in OPVP as they can fluidly do anything thing they want without pause.

So for me its a hindrance and I only go into the OPVP to complete quests.

It's especially annoying for my PVE Cleric. He can survive anything long enough to run and deflag or log off, but since I can't kill a balloon with him, what's the point in solo oPVP?

If they hadn't gone the direction of having too many instances, you would ideally always find groups of players on your side adventuring
