Leaderboard?

I am not big on PvP so I have no idea how anything on that part of the game works, however I want to know why, on my leaderboard, my number of deaths keeps rising



The only PvP event I participated in was Gauntlgrym, twice, a few months ago.
A few days ago my death count was 6 and today it's 19, where does this come from, if anyone can explain it to me?

I have that on my CW as well, apparently when you die in open world, doesn't matter whether you are pvping or not, it counts as a death. Perhaps its a bug but who knows.

I don't PvP at all. It appears that every time you die during PVE, it counts on the leaderboard.

Also, fighting during any of the Heroic Encounters, my assist count goes up on my Journal. Must be hitting Flagged other faction with an AoE attack. No Big Deal. :rolleyes:

That can't be, I died at least 20 times in the dungeons I did yesterday and today, and outside the dungeon, in the past week or so, I died about 2-3 times, my death count, in that case, should be far higher than it is

I also fought in heroic encounters a few time in the past week, and as you can see, I have no assist count

Only deaths in open world areas that have PvP available are likely being counted, so any death in Icewind Pass or any death in Dwarven Valley. It really should only count deaths when you are flagged for pvp, counting PvE death is skewing the PvP leaderboards.
