Hybrid Autoattack changes focus after casting start

When I start a daily pointed at on character - and another runs in front - most often unintentionally I'm betting. My finisher focus gets yanked away. Is this a bug or a feature? I would understand if someone got in nearer proximity or FOV before cast start, but that should not happen after the animation has started. Combined with the SE nerf, this seems to have made SE entirely useless in PVP, and nothing else goes through Immunities of other classes.

    That would actually be kind of cool if it worked- you could jump in front of someone and take the blow for them.

    Not many still use SE- Whirlwind also ignores immunities and does more damage now + AOE.
