Currently listening to it now. There's supposed to be information relevant to us (info about Neverwinter, that is).

Sorry for this very very late summary. Real life got in the way multiple times while I was listening to the podcast, and I had to pause multiple times for a few minutes to an hour at a time, but eventually, I prevailed. Here is the summary for those who don't want to slog through a 45 minute podcast.

Wizards of the Coast Developer Interview:

    Tyranny of Dragons:
    • Despite being called Dungeons and Dragons, D&D hasn't focused much on dragons.
    • Tiamat is the BBEG (Big Bad Evil Guy, er... Gal) of Tyranny of Dragons.
    • Apparently, the devs think that if Tiamat had a voice actor, it would be Angelina Jolie. ;)
    • Tiamat is a good justification for getting evil dragons to work together instead of against each other.
    • PnP Organized Play will allow players to join factions.
    • Tyranny Dragons has a story bible that the devs refer to which was made before the rules. It includes art style, lore, etc.
    • There will be more info about the factions soon.

    Cryptic's Rob Overmeyer Interview:

    Tyranny of Dragons:
    • His mic is LOUD. Ow, my ears!
    • He pronounces WotC (Wizards of the Coast) as wot-see. Took me a moment to figure out what the hell he was talking about.
    • Module 4 involves a resurgence of the Cult of the Dragon. It's up to the player to figure out what they're planning.
    • There will be dragons (duh!).
    • Big dragon fights!
    • The Cult of the Dragon will be all over the Sword Coast.
    • It won't only be for level 60s. It will be for characters of all levels of advancement.
    • Tyranny of Dragons will span multiple modules, not just Module 4.
    • More goodies for Foundry authors.

    Curse of Icewind Dale:
    • Lots of information we already know but non-Neverwinter players don't.
    • His favorite black ice critter is the Black Ice Beholder.

The only time PvE and PvP were mentioned were in the Icewind Dale segment of the podcast. It included information that we already know but non-Neverwinter players don't, and the only thing that Rob revealed was that his favorite Black Ice monster was the Black Ice Beholder. Basically, if you've spent any amount of time in Module 3, you'd already know what was mentioned in the Icewind Dale segment.

The part that intrigues me is that Module 4 will have content for players of all levels. I'm hoping that there will be an alternate advancement path for new characters because going through the main quest for the 13th time will be tedious as heck (I have 12 characters).

And finally, there was absolutely no mention of any new class or race for Module 4.

Imagine if this year's April Fool's Day joke ended up true. That would truly be an epic joke!

WTB kobold race. We already have a Divine Oracle, so that's taken care of.

Coincidentally, the Cult of the Dragon's color is purple, and the Oracle of the Sunken Valley's robe and hat are purple. Coincidence? Yes, I just said so at the beginning of the sentence.
