Empower boost

Does empowering Purified Black Ice Boots to tier 3 grant enough (20%) black ice damage resistance to allow access to Kessel's Retreat?

Base stat for boots is 8% black ice resistance.

    it gives 10% but boosts the character's stats as well.

    At the moment you need 3 pieces to get in even if boosted to 10% each - so hunt for the Gloves or Remorhaz and get the Helmet.

    It is strange = un boosted 2 would be 16% = but I got a 2% cloak from Kessels Retreat and could go back in after taking off my helmet. So it's 3 pieces and not 20% (Note: My equipment was boosted to the 10% so was 22% but at 20% could not get back in ergo the 3 pieces not 20% - I DNK if 18% would work but u need 3 pieces initially which is 24% minimum anyways). It is bugged atm and will prob be fixed.
