Ranked Queue : Returning Fairness to PvP

I propose the implementation of a new queue for Domination : Ranked Queue. Ranked Queue would be different from the normal queue in the following ways:

-Climbing/Dropping in the Leaderboard ladder can only be done through Ranked matches.
-Queueing for a Ranked match can only be done with a semi-Rainbow party (no more than two of any class)
-Moshpit style team creation : 10 players who have queued for a Ranked match will be selected for the match and the teams will be reformed. Team formation would be done by evaluating each player's Leaderboard position and class and dividing the 10 players into 2 teams of matching composition and rank.

Very simple stuff. Let me show you how effective this system would be with an example.

Party A consists of 5 players (global leaderboard position in parenthesis):
Bob -GWF (12)
Mary - GWF (75)
Susie - HR (105)
Jim -HR (42)
Joe -DC (250)

In today's PvP, a group like this would likely face-roll any opponent they would be matched against with very little effort. They would achieve victory, climb the leaderboard, and likely do it again the next match. There is no fairness in this, it is ruining the competitive spirit that PvP should be centered around. With Ranked queue, this is what would happen to a team like this if they were brave enough to queue for a REAL competition:

The system grabs Party B:
Bert - GF (1,076)
Ernie -DC (850)
Oscar - TR (275)

And then grabs 2 solo queue-ers:
Lisa -TR (1,280)
Anne -GF (285)

Take a look at their rankings. These players are knowledgeable and adequate PvPers. They have good builds, good understanding of strategy, and good gear. However, everyone in Party A has maxed-out gear, and these 5 other players wouldn't stand a chance against them, regardless of skill or performance. In today's system, Party B would be paired with the 2 pugs and would be immediately face-rolled.

Instead, the teams would be reformed to look like this:
Bob - GWF (12)
Bert - GF (1,076)
Susie - HR (105)
Ernie - DC (850)
Oscar -TR (275)

vs

Mary - GWF (75)
Jim -HR (42)
Joe -DC (250)

Lisa -TR (1,280)
Anne -GF (285)

A fair match. The victors in this match would be the 5 players who deserved to win, instead of the 5 players who cheated by stacking the odds in their favor to guarantee their victory.

There is no room for unfairness in PvP. There is a lot of unfairness in this game and this system cannot fix that, but it can forever remedy the unfairness of PvP for the people who would prefer to play competitively. Class balance (huge problem and likely a permanent one) becomes less of a problem in a system that ensures matching class compositions. Premade groups face-rolling becomes non-existent. Facing people with maxed-out gear becomes more fun and fair when you have a maxed-out teammate. Leaderboard and Rank gains a sense of credibility. Fairness restored.

Thoughts?
--- Ranked matches need to be solo-queue only
Enforce rainbow parties in PvP ---- 10v10 PvP ----

Sounds good, but I can't really comment since I don't know how the current team-forming formula is like.

How do we know that things aren't like that already?

Also, any premade simply makes PHAIL that kind of formation logic, as one side is always rigged with 5 players from within the first 20 pages of the Leaderboards.

    I have an easier solution.

Separated queues, for premades and pugs. It is beyond me, why this isn't already an option.

See, that's also what I am wondering.

I know for a fact that in the previous ELO system, team-queues and solo-queues did not mix. Either it was seperated totally, or the chances were unrealistically low. I primarily solo-queue, and everytime I've met a premade, I've confirmed that there were 2 or 3 man premades on my own team as well. When I was sure that everyone on the team were solo -- the opponents would also be the same.

... now, under the current leaderboard system, I don't know how it works. I've definately met premades, at least 4-man or even 5-man premades as opponents, but I haven'r really got around to confirming there were some people who made premades in my own team.

Do team-queues and individual-queues really mix?

My though is that Leaderboard ranking of any tipe shouldn't be involved in matchmaking. Only GS should be used, with appropriate brackets after lvl60.

Especially because, ELO as it is, Leaderboard, Scoreboard, Ranking, whatever you name it, doesn't demonstrate jack HAMSTER :)
Leaderboard is only to be used for personal illusory e-peen elongation: GOOD PLAYERS ARE KNOWN BY THE ONES WHO PLAY (with/against them), not "because numbers". Especially in a 5vs5 or 20vs20 or OPvP style of pvp.

Because many people talk about pvp like it's often 1vs1: but if your 1vs1 ends before anyone comes to support you or the other, a)there's a problem in balance b)you're playing terribad c)you were out of position : it's TEAM PvP fgs :(
