The Old Timer’s Guild (OTG) is a Casual, English-speaking group of mature (age-wise anyway) folks, who love to play NeverWinter and help each other advance in the game. We use Mumble, as our live chat venue, for voice communications. We find voice communication to be especially helpful, when grouping and doing team effort content.

The OTG membership requires that you be, at least a minimum of 25+ years of age to apply. In OTG you will find a community of mature gaming fans, looking to have some fun and enjoy an escape from daily life. Most of us have family and work obligations. Some of us have kids that are older, than what many consider to be the “typical gamer”. Our roster ranges from students to graduates, Mothers and Fathers to yes even Grandparents (and a few Great Grandparents) all brought together to unite in one common goal that has become our motto:

"Laid Back, Not Too Serious, No Drama, All About The Fun"

We play on the Dragon Server in-game and we are currently recruiting players of ALL levels, to join us in playing NeverWinter. We are involved daily with PvE, PvP, Dungeon Delves, Skirmishes, Crafting and everything in between. With the release of Icewind Dale, many of our players are working on progression in the new content, as well as the older content. We have recently undergone new changes in Leadership and Officers, in the NeverWinter Chapter of the OTG. We have plans to make our NeverWinter Chapter of OTG, bigger and better than ever!

Currently, we organize guild events, almost daily, to run epic dungeons and explore new areas and content. Some events are weekly reoccurring adventures. We do this, to help get our guild members the items they want or need. In addition, we have several knowledgeable people, who can provide suggestions with your character builds and almost anything else you might have questions about, within the NeverWinter game. Several of our members are well-versed on the in-game content and features. Anyone needing help in guild, can usually find assistance, within the rest of the guild membership, both in-game and on the forums.

If you are interested in joining the Old Timer's Guild, then please, look in-game for one of the leadership members, who can try to answer more of your questions about us:

Fretty – NeverWinter Chapter Leader & General Gaming Officer
Officers: Glendorin, Oney, Thorin and WanderingFree – NCO.

If you have been searching high and low for a guild group of “older” players, who love to chat and have fun, then please read more about us at our website: http://www.oldtimersguild.com/vb/forum.php If we look like a good fit for you, then please, fill out a detailed application and our Recruiting Officer will get back with you, usually within 24 hours.

NOTE: Since this is a 25+ age requirement guild, we do sometimes engage in more adult language and humor. That said, OTG expects you to respect your fellow members’ ability (whether or not you believe they deserve it) to participate in and enjoy all of the aspects our community and the games we play, including in-game, on the forums, or in voice chat.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Well they are a little tite asze. Takes a week even before you can ask about app and when you do join takes 30 day to move out of trainee. Not worth the time or effort to join this elitist junk. Theres better gaming groups out there that actually want members best to avoid junk like this.

US timings usually about 7 - 15 players on, UK evenings we have about 5 currently from Europe on However we do get the morning and afternoon people on from the USA. Quietest time is normally UK mornings, about 2 - 5 people on.

I am saddened to see you feel this way about our Guild.

We do have an application process to join the Old Timers Guild (OTG), which is one of the oldest and longest running Guilds in not just NeverWinter, but in many other gaming platforms as well. We have this application process in place, so that we can get to know you and for you to get to know us and what the OTG is all about. We are very laid back, not into pressuring people to grind constantly, in either PvE or PvP and we are all about the fun.

While we do require applicants to be 25+, it's because some people prefer an "older crowd" of people to game with and for the camaraderie. Also, we do try to get applications for our NeverWinter applicants processed in a timely manner and your checking back daily on your application's progress, is part of that process. We do our best to get people invited to our Guild as soon as everything is confirmed.

If there are any other questions, please post and we will try to answer them to the best of our abilities. Happy Gaming! :)

The Old Timer’s Guild (OTG) is a Casual, English-speaking group of mature (age-wise anyway) folks, who love to play NeverWinter and help each other advance in the game. We have members from all corners of the world who love to play NeverWinter all hours of the day and night and have stress free fun!

We use Mumble, as our live chat venue, for voice communications for gaming and just to enjoy everyday chat. We find voice communication to be especially helpful, when grouping and doing team effort content.

To become a member of OTG, we require that you be, at least a minimum of 25+ years of age to apply. In OTG you will find a community of mature gaming fans, looking to have some fun and maybe escape from daily real life for just a little while! Most of us have family and work obligations in the real world, but we still like to kick back and have fun too! Some of our members have kids that are older, than what many consider to be the “typical gamer” age, but we old folks know how to have fun too. :) Our membership roster ranges from older college students to advanced college post graduates to Mothers and Fathers to yes, even Grandparents (and a few Great Grandparents), who all brought together to unite us in one common goal, that has become our motto:

"Laid Back, Not Too Serious, No Drama, All About The Fun"

We play on the Dragon Server in NeverWinter and we are always recruiting new players of ALL levels and abilities, to join our gaming family. Most of our members are involved in daily activities such as: PvE, PvP, Dungeon Delves, Skirmishes, Foundries, Crafting, special events and everything in between! With the recent release of Icewind Dale, many of our players have been working on progression in the new module content, as well as still enjoying the older content.

Our goal is to make the NeverWinter Chapter of OTG, bigger and better than ever before and yet maintain the casual atmosphere, that we all have come to enjoy!

Currently, we organize guild events, almost daily, to run epic dungeons and explore new areas and the older content too. Some scheduled events are weekly reoccurring adventures. We do this, to help get our guild members the items they want or need, to be more ready for future game content. In addition, we have several knowledgeable people, who can provide suggestions with your character builds and almost anything else you might have questions about, within the NeverWinter game. Several of our members are well-versed on the in-game content and features.

Anyone needing help in the OTG, can usually find assistance within the rest of the guild membership, both in-game and on the forums. We also have many generous guild members who have extra gear and items, to help our newer members advance their characters gear, professions ambitions, plus our guild bank is filled with helpful resources as well.

If you are interested in joining the Old Timer's Guild, then please, look in-game for one of the OTG Leadership Members or one of our general members, who can try to answer more of your questions about us:

    The Current Leadership members are:

Fretty – NeverWinter Chapter Leader & General Gaming Officer for OTG.

    Current NeverWinter Officer: Glendorin.

    N.C.O.: WanderingFree.

If you have been searching high and low for a guild group of “older” players, who love to adventure in NeverWinter, chat and have fun, then please read more about us at our website: http://www.oldtimersguild.com/vb/forum.php

If we look like a good fit for you, then please, fill out a detailed application and our General Gaming Recruitment Officer will get back with you with further instructions, usually within 24 hours.

Please Note: Once you have filled out and submitted an application to OTG, you need to check back into our website on a daily basis, to keep the progress of your application process moving along quickly. We are as anxious to get to know you and play NeverWinter with you, as you are to join our ranks! :)

We do require that you be at least 25 years of age or older, to join our guild. We do sometimes engage in more adult humor and language, that is not appropriate for younger ears. That said, OTG is not a group of elitists or people who think they are all that and then some. We do ask that you respect your fellow members’ ability (whether or not you believe they deserve it) to participate in and enjoy all of the aspects our OTG family and the other games we play, including participation on the forums, or in voice chat.

We look forward to hearing from you soon! :D
