Change appearance token bug/ please help

To start i have checked with others and asked some people around and they're telling me they are not experiencing this problem. i bought a change appearance token and went into the tower of alteration to change, but the npc still asks me to buy a change appearance token for 100zen, and i thought maybe is bugged and i bought another token, and it still asked me to buy a token, i've restarted the client, logged out, etc... and cannot figure why it is this has happend, please help me. i also switched characters to see if the token was moved to them but nothing.
