fall damage in open world pvp area without falling

was doing some pvp, suddenly all my health disapeared.
not from attacks, but it showed in log 7x fall damage.
3 from 3k then 4 from 6k,7 times in half a second.
i was on something but it wasn`t high, just a litle hill thing.
