Hello,
seeing how one needs get the 7 Shadowfell Essences in the Dread Ring again today and some heroic player once again destroyed my effort in getting this done quickly :mad: do I like to share a little trick on how to farm Shadowfell Essences. First, here is a picture for you:
Instead of killing all of them and running from corner to corner to get more Shadowfell Essences can you do the following:
With this little trick can you get all 7 Shadowfell Essences for your dailies from a single Illusionist. Please pass it on. If you have your own tips to share please post them here, too.

Instead of killing all of them and running from corner to corner to get more Shadowfell Essences can you do the following:
- Kill the two servitors at the front.
- Kill the mirror images - these drop each one Shadowfell Essence.
- DO NOT KILL the Illusionist, because he will keep summoning new mirror images.
- Wait for the Illusionist to summon new mirror images (takes about 10s).
- Keep killing the mirror images for more Shadowfell Essences.
With this little trick can you get all 7 Shadowfell Essences for your dailies from a single Illusionist. Please pass it on. If you have your own tips to share please post them here, too.
