like the title says, add a cooldown for dungeons. please. for the love of god, make it an hour long cooldown if you want, i don't care. maybe it'll stop all these pricks that join and immediately leave because they don't want to wait for the group to finish filling, or because they're the tank and they don't like the makeup of the group or whatever the problem is.

i've been waiting for 3 freaking hours in epic TOS for a full group. it's filled repeatedly, but ppl leave. im tired of waiting.

The queue can be annoying, but the best solution is to form a team yourself.

No thanks, I'd rather not be forced to play if I don't think the team won't be able to do it. Which is possibly the case if people left in the first place. I'd be forced to clean up someone elses mess. Pugs can take the mick by thinking 9k gs is enough for tos for example.

Edit: I was thinking about joining mid-before last boss after someone leaves. The same applies somewhat at the start too, however people can be strongly opionated. I myself give groups a go and have been surprised at beating some dungeons with not quite up to scratch parties. Although it can also be a little annoying at times.

I go to a dungeon during the Dungeon Delver event, finish the dungeon when there's still plenty of time left of the event. Are you seriously suggesting I should be forced to watch the event run its course without being able to join another dungeon? No thanks. Sure it sucks that some people quit all the time, but that's a player-problme, not a game-problem.

To be fair people often want a cushy path to end a dungeon and seem to fear challenges. If they think the group can't make it, they won't even give it a chance, and that's a locing attitude.

The other day we had a bunch of clerics and tank GFs ditch us in front of the final boss in Spellplague because we didn't have a CW.
At some point we figured whatever let's try with the group we have (TR, HR, tanking GWF and non-tanking GF), and beat it surprisingly easy (We've been failing that one last battle for about 2 or 3 hours before, when we had a tanking GF and a DC in the team)

Often times it's possible to finish a dungeon with an average team, sometimes you have to count on luck (we definitely had that on our side lmao), but you will really never know if it's possible if you quit every time you see a team you THINK won't make it.
I'm not saying you shouldn't ditch the team if you SEE they don't stand a chance (it happens), but to ditch it the moment you see the team make-up is pretty weak.
I never ditched a group because of that.

Finally though, bioshrike is right, forming a team on your own - preferably with people you know and like - is often the best solution, however most of my best dungeon experiences were with my best friend and 3 people we didn't know. There's a lot of jerks in this community but you often find golden people as well.

    ^This.

I'm usually not picky, but sometimes I have time constraints. I can roughly tell from a quick inspect how much will take to a certain party to finish certain dungeon, and in case of lengthy dungeons (Spellplague, FH), if I believe we can't do it in time, i will back off, and avoid wasting both their time (because i would end up having to log at a certain point and leave the party without a component, possibly impairing their ability to finish the dungeon) and mine (because I couldn't finish the dungeon, thus I achieved nothing).

Frequently it would be because people are trying to get into a specific group to help some friends or guild mates, but end up in yours.

This issue could be solved by allowing people to invite specific people into partially filled groups.
    Hoping for improvements...

In agreement with this one multiple times ive had leavers but a guildie or a friend being able to be brought in would be useful. But also would probably be abused which is probably why its not like that though.

Maybe people don't want to play with you. Maybe you are low score GF or any other reason - who cares. I don't see why someone should be forced to play in a way that suits you, not him.

i believe people like you should get the queue debuff when you leave a party instantly. ive done a dungeon and was at the VERY BEGINNING and people were leaving left and right instantly. ive been farming for the same armor for months now. its the sole reason i barely ever play NW anymore. bc i can never get what i need from the dungeons they are in.

Form your own grp or join a guild that will help ya run through the dungeon. Honestly man, stop complaining. If you are fed up with nw b/c u cant get the piece of gear cool but no need to complain when u are pugging.
