1) Still have to use the mail to move professions stuff.
2) Couldn't you have even considered making things like Tourmaline Bars account locked rather than character locked?
Really, I'm at the moment hoping I find why you particularly found it necessary to open this up for this particular module, because I just don't see the reasoning and all we've been told is that it has something to do with the Black Ice Shaping profession or something like that.
I'm not disappointed because I don't allow my imagination and rumor-mill to inflate my expectations to unrealistic levels.
So my comment is specifically to counter the OP:
Thank you, Cryptic, for this new feature that we've never had before, new functionality that we never had before, new "quality of life" abilities we never had before, and all for free on top of that.
How in the world anyone can be "disappointed" by the new stuff they've never had before is dumbfounding at best. I think it was said best when someone said "Never look a gift horse in the mouth."

I'm only disappointed by the high cost of extra slots. But hey it's no different than the regular bank slots being overpriced either. It just means less money Cryptic is getting from me since I refuse to buy them. I'll use what's available for free though.

I'd expected that, since nearly every f2p MMO I've played that has "account bank" slots? They're more expensive than normal storage upgrades. Actually, it's cheaper than I thought it'd be, since Star Trek's account bank costs 1000 zen per 10 slots (at least it did when I bought some a couple years ago).

Because you're looking at it from the perspective of getting free slots without the intent of buying more. The OP may be looking it from the point of view that it costs almost twice as much as the normal bank slots and not as useful as he hoped. I mean the reason to give us some free slots is to try to tease us to buy more (understandably).
Account share bank= useless. Why?
Did you know you can just mail the items to yourself? The same is with the case of account bound items, just mail them to yourself. If you're using the mailbox as a storage tool, you should probably stop now as it is not an intended feature AND i read in a post that cryptic has said it should not be used that way.
New feature? Yes. Helpful? No. Useless? Very, since there already exists a way to transfer items to yourself. Gold on the other hand SHOULD be transferable in the first place. Otherwise it isn't truly a "BANK" and more of a safety deposit vault. So we can't transfer profession items, what about astral diamonds? Why go through the zen/ad exchange to transfer it? The bank is right there, make it more useful than it already isn't.

My guess is that this is just the first step and the limitation of mail will be the 2nd step as it was in Star Trek Online as well. Over there Cryptic made the two steps virtually at the same time so you barely could notice, but now you can only store 20 full mails w/ items and no more. If you want more you HAVE to use the acc shared bank. And that is coming to Neverwinter too as they think that will make them more money.

Dude, no matter how much free stuffs Cryptic gives some folks, they never going to stop complaining, and many of them haven't spent a single dollar on this game. It just don't make any sense, man. You're totally right.
Ye i agree. Ppl should stop complaining about new ''free'' stuff. Be happy that you have it.
To be honest, all these complainings sound like i got 20$ for free but i want 1000$ for free, 20$ are useless.

There already is a limit on mails with items in Neverwinter.
OP , are you kidding me? Account wide bank is great , using it to transfer greater and perfect enchantments sure beats the paranoia connected to using the mailing system any day.
Really loving the account slots. Eventually I'll buy more and use them to store enchants, dyes etc... but for the moment they're great for moving items. First thing I did with them was to consolidate all the lockboxes I gathered last weekend. My long term goal as I said though is to have enough slots to store at least one stack of event dyes and the higher quality enchants so I don't have to search for them when working on someone's gear.

Nonsense. The point the person was trying to make was that profession stuff and other items that should be account wide rather still need to go through the mail. You guys completely missed the point. This is a complaint about oversight of the development of the shared bank rather than whether they got stuff for free or not. It's not being greedy or ungrateful when it was originally a necessity. I personally would have kicked myself real hard for such an oversight if I were the designer or programmer.
P.S. You need to take things such as Hoarding Disorder into account if you're going to limit the number of mails with items. Also, be sure to consider the fact that some people trade a lot, so if you can't limit it more than about 25 to 30, since 20 already go to the Auction House. Of course, I understand that you might be having load issues with your mail server, but do consider things like this.
The account bank work as I expected it to do, Heck I thought it was 700 to GET an account bank I was pleased to find you START with 8 slots. I believe when it was requested the suggested price was 2x-3x cost of normalbank slots so 700 is not that bad. bout what I was expecting.
I would like to see the ability to buy account "tabs" for professions, currencies, idle pets, outfits, weapon skins. outfit sets 1000z for the tab and 700z for more slots :P *ducks any flying tomatoes*

There's also another subtle thing in this update: You can't collect rewards from Epic Encounters if you have anything in your overflow bag.
