Honestly speaking, with no intention of disrespect or ridicule, this comment right here;
"i have 21k health"
...just explained anything and everything about what your build/character performance is like in PvP. Entering PvP with 21k Hp is like a half-baked and unequipped rookie that didn't even finish boot-camp taking foothold on Omaha Beach at D-Day.
It has less to do with how some classes hit too hard, but more with how your HR was - in all probabilty - poorly equipped and inexperienced.
Things are pretty much same with anyone who enters PvP with PvE build. I see many people with anywhere between respectable 13k~15k GS, and yet, have like what... 22k? 23k HP at most? You can immeidately tell these are PvE builds which may do reasonably well in the low ELO rank matches, but has no chance at all in higher ELO rankring matches, even if its PuG level. By the time they arrive at somewhere between "top of the PuG level" and "under premade level", they're nothing more than cannon fodder. GWFs with 16k GS and yet just melt like butter under any stressful condition, HRs and CWs with high damage when there are meatshields around, but so fragile that hardly any contribution to actually taking nodes... etc etc.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
but arent the matches supposed to be balanced based on our GS? i have about 11k GS and yes im still gearing myself but i have mostly epic armor. and when i first started doing pvp before tenacity i went solely based on one stat so i could survive longer but now with the healing debuff its even harder. and then am i supposed to gem for all health? im an HR. im sorry if they have low HP even with the health increasing feat which i do have. and yes im using a pvp build if you are wondering.

ELO doesn't take GS into consideration.

Don't wanna sound rude, but there is really something wrong with your build, as what I have seen with the players who really can play GWF is that even if I can hang them, they drop down in 0.5-1 second later and the freeze last about same. Also any battle with rightly built GWF last ages even with DPS CW as any time you are able to get him down on health, which takes a long time, he just uses potions or artifacts and I must start over, where CW goes down really fast once he is on the ground and this is why everybody of worth concentrates on CWs first, which doesn't really make playing that CW any more attractive either...
PS. What I have been talking with people, even some GWF players think that some of the builds are quite broken as they can steamroll any single char and even keep their own long time against groups, holding all or most of enemies busy while rest of their team takes the bases.
The poster is a GF, not a GWF. GFs don't have the Unstoppable feature to break free from CC. If a good CW has a GF and gets his rotation in we are in trouble, especially if he can hit hard.
PSA: You don't need to grind Spinward Rise for your Elemental artifact main hand if you have some AD lying around. You can craft it via the Tyranny of Dragon's campaign screen.
The funny thing is I don't think the CC nerf ever effected GWF or GF prone chains. I imagine it would have been hard for them to modify the "getting up" animation to appear faster. I think a small immunity to prone after being proned (not interupt, confuse, stun, repel, etc) would have solved this. You should still take the damage though.
Exactly. It seems that a GWF has more CC than any CW. I wonder why it's still called "Control Wizard" - may be true in PVE, but not in PVP.
Let's see with what changes the developers will come up regarding the CW.
Hi, sorry to bother you with this matter but is the first time that I enter the forum and of course, cannot open a particular discusion.
I don't really know if someone played with my account and need to know if my warrior has been killed. Is there a way to know this? If it has been killed and... how many times?
After the mod 3 I CAN'T HEAL MYSELF. It's like my skills don't work. It used to be the only thing I could do in pvp (heal ppl and trying to stay alive). Now I can't do EITHER. I had to change my playing style to full dps because now healing is just worthless!!
In adition to that I get controlled/prone ALL THE TIME (and I'm wearing full profound + elven battle enchantment, 14.5k gs). And that prone BS takes forever to get up from it (W.T.F). By the time the cleric gets up he already took 3 encounters from whoever he's against for 30k damage.
THE ONLY ADVANTAGE a cleric had was being able to stand a little damage WITH HEALS. Without that I feel like GIVING UP. Honestly.

Ha ha, I thought I have paranoia about getting CC'd forever and it isn't real, but seems like I'm not alone I am halfling with 20% tenacity and some resistance from wisdom (around 10%) and I'm getting CC'd to the death all the time. Even 2 players can take me down without giving a window to cast a single spell. And I can no longer heal myself. I'm using Sunburst, Healing Word and Exaltation as FF and AS are a waste.
M6 almost drains your soul given how boring it is. (c) joocycuzzzzzz

How do you know they were max geared? I can't investigate members of the opposing team.

Again, sorry to bother and thanks for your help.
Well, I got into pvp yesterday. Did 6 matches.
