Another positive (?) side effect, is that now it has become much more difficult for TRs to force-cancel stealth by using mounts.
Take for example a TR engages someone, and then sees more enemies are coming. He figures its too much to handle, so he decides to run for it. Prior to the patch, in those situations the TR can find an obstacle or a corner to break line of sight, and then activate a mount to cancel out stealth so he can either quickly recharge it for another go, or just decide to ride off and make a run for it.
Now, it ain't so. The combat status lasts as long as stealth(8seconds+), so if you go into stealth during any kind f combat, you're committed.
(ps) A negative side effect, would be that the class feature [First Strike] is now greatly reduced in its efficiency.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

The delay it takes to mount up out of combat is atrocious, on rivenscar ruins, from point 3, i was able to run from the node all the way to, and past the health pot on the same side before i could mount up on my GWF. it is so broken. on top of that, other classes like control wizards or GF's can no longer escape by stunning and mounting up and running away, that is so stupid and lame that was taken away from them, because otherwise gwfs and trs and hrs can run them down and **** them, not to mention DC's cant even get to a node in time to save people from dying (which is the whole point of a DC)
I am complaining as well, please don't say well geared DC can self heal like hell, if you do, show me your build and video.
There are quite a few DCs out there that are able to either stall almost any class for like 5-10 minutes (yes, good CWs can still kill them), or make their team relatively immortal. It's not all about self heals, it's about damage reduction and prevention.
Indeed, your team has to be properly PvP geared and has to have decent Tenacity, and know to stay in the **** blue shield.
Videos with these DCs are easy to find on Twitch and Youtube. DCs are not in a bad place now. They can be very good team support and decide victory for a team - if they are geared and good. They are bad and underperforming only for those players that dream of classic MMO healers or hybrids that can kill people reliably.
Also being in combat and not able to mount is still stupid.
The mount delay is awesome and should have been like this from the the beginning.
Ah ok, it's WAI then. Well hopefully it is not WoW-copyright. It sure is realistic, yet the animation time (when the char seems to be drunk) should be deducted from the respawn time.
