An observation I was having was shared by a pvp buddy of mine...feelin' kinda squishy in domination. Not against the heavy hitters but in general. I'm talkin' ELO reset, 10k harmless herd seems to be doin' a little bit of damage right now. Granted, everyone is on the reset train and you may run into anyone but I feel like I'm not as tough as I was yesterday against the non pvp spec'd folks. Could be me (probably is) but anyone else feel like this in domination?
lol Pherrow I think I know who that buddy was :P Definitely feel squishier. The same three who yesterday I could face tank for well over a minute and kill at least one of them, now grinds me to shreds in a few seconds. I am noticing that CW's seem to be vastly improved. They hit like a truck and their dodge window is ridiculous. If I cast constricting and dodge and they cast anything and dodge it is a guarantee their attack will hit and mine will be dodged.

Yea, CWs seem to be the most noticeable. They were hammering out the damage last night. Wish we coulda got in a few more matches.
And I'm not hating', CWs, good on you if you got tossed a bone in this mod.
I also feel like I'm being hit a lot harder by encounters. I don't know if this has something to do with the Power stat re-work.
Was thinking that might be the case as well. I couldn't tell on my end because of my respect, I now have more power and coupled with the buff to indom I'm doin even more damage but that was expected. Which you know based on your own thread.
I think what you guys are encountering is PVE geared CWs with amazing offensive stats.
The open world PVE means they can attack you by surprise, and also means they are more free to keep distance.
The META of tankiness exists because before mod3, the ONLY thing that mattered in all of Neverwinter PVP was how long you could stand on a circle without dying.
Domination is only a mini-game in the open PVP of mod3, and even then the nodes themselves come equipped with walls you can kite yourself around while still being on the node, favoring more offense and less defense.
My GWF destro spec lasted 3 sec, think that was the amount of time i needed to die in the open world pvp match. So back to sentinel build!
For pve it does seem to do a nice job this new destro, no problem in keeping stacks and all, but for pvp is a no go.
Depends on the gear
Today I hit people for 26K IBS in Domination... on BiS equipped PvPers. Yeah I kinda died a bit more, but I love the big numbers! Missed them since Tenacity was introduced. So I think I might mess around as a destro a bit, probably respec to boring later on if I got too many friends bothering me to backcap and do their PvP chores...

Nah man, just talkin about domination. And my first thought was pve spec but those guys are still easy to deal with before the patch. Mostly because they are not practiced. But since I pvp a lot, it was easy to tell the difference. The more matches I did the more the change was evident.

By the way, the meta in PVP is making these insanely tanky characters no matter what the class

Wonder if the arp fix for CWs was slipped in?
Can't post a screenshot at the moment. What do you want to know?
My gwif has 61% DR, I believe. 19.9% of that is tenacity. Bravery was slotted when I ran last night. I have 33 AC since I'm runnin' T1 armor.
