Lockbox drop chance?

The lockbox drop chance for items needs to be revealed and available to the players. It's completely unacceptable that a proprietary system that allows underage children to gamble has been allowed to remain in the game and at the same time be proprietary and subject to changed, even to the point of a person having 0% chance for an item, all at PW's discretion.

The purpose of this thread is to bring awareness about this topic, because PW being a Chinese company, I don't believe understands how these kinds of services are unacceptable in other countries that contain many of Neverwinter customer's.

    PWE being Chinese and therefore "they don't understand how their services are unacceptable..." is a false assumption on its face. Period. PWE is the NA arm of the company, based in California and staffed by people of different countries. The Terms of Service are written, as found here, in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, not China. Therefore, your assumption has no basis in fact.

    Quote as below for reference:
    31.1Unless applicable mandatory law expressly dictates otherwise:
    - this Agreement is governed by and shall be construed and enforced under the laws of the Netherlands;

    Furthermore, I'm sure that PWE--as well as MANY other free to play gaming companies--have had their legal teams research this issue thoroughly.

    Until laws address this, whether this is "gambling" is the province of a court of law of competent jurisdiction. Not here.

    Thread closed as this has no chance at being a productive discussion.
