It's not just about stacking power. Rather, if you have a choice between the two, choose power. Critical strike will still increase your overall damage, just not as much as power would. As such, you shouldn't avoid critical strike completely.
Im so dumb - chose the virtuous set with Crit on it as profound set - getting another set will take some time
Defenitly need to respec too and get rid of all the crit boons i chose
Don't be so fast to change everything. This chart assumes a target that stands still and constant attacks over time. PVP doesn't work that way at all (PVE doesn't even work like that technically). Even healing doesn't work that way, as characters move in and out of range of heals.
Crit is the best stat for PVP- it's just that diminishing returns can be pretty severe.

That is not correct. The calculation is a determination of what configuration, on average, will deal more damage per hit. And the final conclusion is that power will deal more damage than crit in the vast majority of set-ups.
Making up some fictional numbers:
Say you have a perfect vorpal and a 30% crit chance
Your regular damage on an ability is 5,000 and your crit damage is 11,250. When you use that ability you can expect (0.3*11,250+0.7*5,000 = ) 6,875 damage per use of that ability.
Say you trade a bunch of your crit for power, lowering your crit chance to 25% but upping your base damage to 5,500
Now your average damage will be (0.25*12,375+0.75*5,500 = ) 7,218 damage per use of that ability.
This means that, on average, you'll do more damage with power than crit. It does not mean that it will only do more damage if you are attacking for a prolonged period of time.
