Enchantments, Runes, Artifacts, and Refining

Question: How is everyone getting the blue refining stones? I get them so infrequently I've resorted to the auction house just to find the particular ones I need. I may have found maybe two every month total out of many hours of play per week.

It has taken me a couple of months, but I finally figured out what I assume was the reasoning behind the change to enchantments and runes and the new refinement system (aside from the introduction of artifacts): People found it too challenging to keep coming up with equivalent runes or enchantments to combine to raise levels, so in that sense it helps those who had that problem (I wasn't one of them). On the other hand, it just changes the challenge from finding the equivalent runes and enchantments to finding the right refining stones, particularly the blue ones at my current point (finding purple ones and green ones without problem), so I'm trying to figure out how this makes this at all easier. Still need the wards as well just to keep hold of those precious refining stones in case of failure. Nothing has really changed, yet it was touted as being a change for the better based on player feedback.
