Moving Characters

I started a character on my husbands account to see if I liked the game and also to see if I could play it. (I get vertigo just watching most games) I would like to start my own account and would like to move my character from his to mine if that is possible. Please let me know how or if it is doable.

I am sorry to say it isn't possible. They will not allow it. You can start your own account, but you can't move characters across accounts. They won't even sell us this service even though it would make a small fortune for them. I suspect they are concerned with possible security issues, where someone could basically set themselves up to sell their characters or find a way to steal them from other players.

Hi, unfortunately, I don't think it is possible.

You were sharing the account with your husband and thus, technically speaking, that character is your husband's.

It is thus not possible to duplicate a character from a person's account to another as that could lead to possible exploitation.

However, I think you could bring your case to support and see what they can do about it. You can assess it via pressing H in-game. I'm sure they would rather help you out then to lose you as a player altogether. Good luck=)

Just thought I'd point this out: sharing accounts is a violation of the CoD and could get your husbands account banned. I wouldn't bring it up to support if I were you. You're better off cutting your losses and starting your own account fresh. It means of course starting over but at least your husband will get an alt he doesn't have to start fresh on. (For what that's worth)
