My current character is a level 60 cleric and I have a friend I dungeon often with who is a control wizard and we currently both have plaguefires. Do they stack on enemies or is this worthless as I can easily get a terror on my cleric instead?

Simply check the effect icons on the target. Effects which stack will either have a little number on their icon (a counter) or they will have the same icon appear multiple times.
Dang. So am guessing a plaguefire + terror combination would be the way for us to go then?
Terror is 4% more damage at Perfect Rank. Try Bronzewood instead. Perfect is 16% more damage for 10 seconds every 20 seconds. Its CD applies per mob only. So once you mark 1 mob and ur CD procs, you can turn around and mark a 2nd mob without having to wait for CD. Also it procs on AoEs.
It has no lesser version and the normal version is on the AH for 50k only. 8% more damage half the time for 50k is equal in power to Perfect Terror which is 5m.

It would allow you the most in terms of debuffs for weapon enchants.
^In reply to this post, Bronzewood is a self-buff only (IIRC). It has an 50% uptime (10s duration, 20s cooldown). This might not be bad for PvE encounters since trash generally does not live a long time, but for bosses I'd recommend Terror.

Your half right. Bronzewood is a self-buff but the "self" is not just that 1 player but ANY player with bronzewood. Every player with bronzewood will be able to take advantage of the other bronzewood players buff.
50% uptime is still 8% overall damage on perfect vs the 4% damage of perfect terror. That 4% is also calculated from a 20% DR mob. Trash mobs with less armor will only net 2-3% damage increase.
In a duo scenario, Plaguefire+Bronze would be 9%+9%+8%. Plague+Terror would be 9%+9%+4%+4% so its equal for far cheaper. In a 5 man pt then yes terror wins. Unless someone is running Terror in that case Vorpal is king and always the safe route to go.
Yeah am usually in a 5-man party doing some dungeon so I think terror would be best for me, particularly being a cleric as I don't deal much damage to take advantage of a self-only damage boost.

um no.
it's 4% all the time.
DC should use Terror. GF should use GPF. assuming you don't have a GF in your party, an IT using CW (MoF if you have one) should use GPF. Everyone else should use vorpal. Assuming you are building a party that runs together often.
If it's always random pug then just roll Vorpal as dps, DC can always roll with Terror cus it's highly unlikely for anyone else to be using it anyway, unlike GPF.
Vorp is nice for DCs too, especially in parties where heals are still actually needed (and in solo stuff, obviously). Bigger crit heals + bigger repurpose soul heals are all quite useful, and it's less high-maintenance than trying to keep terror up on everything when you don't have any AoE at-wills.
I always figured the debuff enchants would be best placed on those able to spam them most widely, so CWs (with their mass of "no target cap" encounters/dailies) are the natural candidates for plaguefires.
Bronzewood is nice for single target DPS but it do not give more DMG but:
Perfect Bronzewood
Targets struck by your encounter powers become marked. While marked, your at will and encounter powers ignore -16% of the target's armor. Targets may not be marked more than once every 20 seconds.
The nice in this enchant is that the player have ~12 sec high dmg (cirt/non-crit) with 8 sec cooldown. And you can activate next rotation when you want (when your encounters are refreshed and ready to use).

Its interesting to see some people finally start noticing Bronzewood.
As it is, Bronzewood allows higher damage than 3 stacks of Plaguefire or Terror.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

Bronzewood does not get noticed much, because it is rare and not very useful. Marking targets means you will generate more threat. So it is really only useful for GFs and perhaps a few GWFs, but most GWFs will want Vorpal. CWs are better off with Vorpal and certainly do not need to create more threat, because they just cannot tank what is coming for them.

a good cw doesnt need to tank, becoz they can cc the mobs before they hit them..

There is no mark visible as this one on GF. Broonzewood is just debuff as icon on the target health bar. I doesn't notice to generate more threat with it.

I start with Holy before long time but it provide dmg per hit and my play style is not about fast hitting, where is power of Holy. Because that I start to think, read and calculate and after few days I choose Broonzwood.
So since few mounts I use it. This enchant is not best for PVE (maybe) but for PVP I like it more than everything else. If someone start to compare Broonzewood vs Plaguefire and Terror, when they stack maybe they provide better effect as dmg buff for your party member but you need to hit the target few times. In this time Broonzewood work from first hit which one is very important especially in PVP where your target die very fast and you can apply other debuffs hard.

You seem to be a little confused. Bronzewood doesn't make those big X-shaped marks. GF tab skill does, as does threatening rush, IBS and maybe some other things across the fighters. Bronzewood is a damage debuff, which appears with all the other debuffs. It increases damage, rather than inherently building threat. The only increase in threat comes from the fact that the user is doing more damage.

I am not confused, I may only got it wrong. I have seen players use it and seen the red marks on targets. Its description also says that targets are being marked, which only made sense.

When someone/something is hit by Bronzewood, he glows with a bronzy(?) color.
