Hello everyone, my ingame name is Kiyonori Dragnier(@Kiyonori) I recently started playing Neverwinter on dragon server with my girlfriend (ingame name, Tiirora Dragnier(@captaintyron) and we are now wanting to meet new people and making friends in this game.

We played many games before so we are used to mmo’s basics and we kind of got used to neverwinter quickly. We aren’t hardcore players but more casuals ones because like most of people we are busy in real life.

We both are currenly lv 27-30, I’m a guardian fighter and my girlfriend is a great weapon fighter and like we said we want to be a part of this game community so here we are !

Let’s continue by having a more complete introduction about myself, first of all it would be easier to call me Kiyo, I’m 23 years old and I’m a hardcore gamer and I tend to seek for social interaction instead of being surrounded by elitists, I have no problem playing end-game stuff but I do not want it to become dominant over the pleasure of playing with friends and beloved people.

For your information I’m from Belgium so I’m not a native english speaker, but due to some intensive gaming and my girlfriend who is native to the UK, I’m able to talk english and I think I really improved on speaking, of course when it comes to typing and reading there’s absolutely no problems. I just need to work on vocal chat.

Many people may find me cold or very formal but again it’s a part of my personality I tend to need some time before opening to people and start being less cold or less formal. Of course the fact I show a lot of seriousness doesn’t mean that I’m unable to joke or being silly, it’s just a part of my shy and reserved personality but when known and approached I tend to be very warm.

Now I’ll let my girlfriend typing her personal introduction~

Hi, I'm Tii I’m 18 years old, Kiyo's gf uwu I can be quite social and like to play with friends although sometimes my laziness gets in the way of that =w=" Mmm just some general things about me would be that I like drawing (I have a deviantart account but I'm not so good so don't get your hopes up! huhu), I ehm like playing many types of games as long as they aren't too complex @w@
My boyfriend kiyo can be a bit cold at first due to his shyness BUT ONCE YOU GET CLOSER TO HIM HE CAN BE QUITE AWESOME.
I'm generally on skype more than I am on the game so eh, preffereably people who play the game and have skype could post uwu
Oh. Also if you are mean to me or my bf you should know that I have a very firey temper. Beware.
I have some difficulities talking with girls so err, if you happen to be a girl and want to be my friend I apologize for me being awkward ewe *coughs* also if you get too close to my kiyo I will bite you until you give up D:<
I-I can be a bit shy sometimes so >3> Don’t mind that =3=
I like to have a laugh and I like to have some silly and easygoing friends owo Especially if we are on a call doing stupid things hurr.
We don’t just have skype we also have steam! At the moment we have Speedrunners, Garry’s Mod and APB in case any of you like to play those games also!

Thank you darling for your introduction~ So again I’ll take the control of this thread~

What we expect from people:

- First of all we don’t want leechers, just like many mmo’s many people are leechers, aka trying to get items from people without even trying to work for it, or always being the one helped without helping around when people needs it. Sorry but if you want an item you’ll have to work because we’re not a walking wallet, of course we usually never say no to dungeoning if someone needs to work on gear.

- We expect people that would accept the fact we wouldn’t be hardcore players when our real lifes makes us busy, we want to be able to play at our speed without being fired because we didn’t rush levels or stuffs for exemple, we want to take our time to discover and enjoy the game.

- We expect friendly people, we don’t want drama, we just want to have fun with friends, talking, laughing, playing, dying together in a dungeon (lol). So drama queens sorry but this thread isn’t for you. We’ve got enough of that in the past, we just want to befriend peoples and play together !

- Both my girlfriend and myself have different schedules so I may be more active than her but I will mostly wait her for leveling (as soon as we both hit 60 i’ll be able to be more active) but when we both are on at the same time we mostly stay together so don’t expect us running a dungeon if one of us isn’t allowed to enter the party :p

I think it’s enough to explain what kind of person we want to befriend~

I don’t mind being in a guild, but my girlfriend had very bad experiences in guilds in the past so she may have some difficulties in trusting a guild or feeling at ease in one, of course she would join the same as the one I would join but because of the fact she got very bad experiences with guilds means that we would be a little picky about guilds.

We don’t mind doing pvp sometimes but before that we would like to get used to the game and getting some gears ourselves.

Well I think I’ve forgot nothing here so if you have any questions do not hesitate~ Also don’t hesitate to add us in-game ! See you soon !

Looks like I'll be the first to welcome you. So, welcome

There are definitely a good number of friendly players in game, but they aren't everywhere. I typically type in party chats to see which players are willing to communicate, as that indicates to me who are more willing to be friendly. Basically, you should be able to find some good people to run with in time.

    As for the forums.

Not to be a downer, but I've heavily limited my posting to the forum because it can get very dramatic here. I still visit very often and read all of the new posts, but I feel that, in most cases, I won't accomplish much other than creating chagrin in others. There are definitely some cool and great people who post here, but I'm not going to lie and say that applies to the majority.

I (and those I associate with) are not hardcore. In my opinion, there isn't much reason to go hardcore in a game that doesn't require hardcore to do well (PvP might be an exception here). I find your leecher comment humorous, since I know of some people who always ask for things to borrow to improve themselves while I've earned everything I have with minimal aid. I'm pretty giving, but I'm not going to give everything I own. I'm actually in possession of some level 60 gwf gear from the epic dungeons that I'm almost giving away. I don't need them, and selling them won't net me much profit.

While it'd be nice if I could be that person for you to interact with, it sounds like we're in vastly different timezones. That would cause a few problems. And concerning guilds: Don't worry about it too much. It's not necessary to be in one, but I will say this: in this game, it is highly advantageous to be in a nice guild. Also, being in a good guild with people that communicate will grant you what you seek. I'm sorry about her experiences with past guilds. I guess it'll be up to you two on whether or not to join a guild.

One tip I can give is to browse the forums about how level 60 is like. Since you both are only around level 30, you might not be aware of the difference in playstyle there is at 60. Of course, you also might be aware of that, but I might as well give the tip anyway. I also suggest not going into pvp until, as you said, you are a bit geared. Having a solid knowledge of pve content and having decent gear can help you both get into pvp easier. It's not fun getting stomped by very geared players despite one's personal skill level.

Anyway, welcome to the game. Don't soak in all of the negativity people here and in game will throw at you. Remain positive and have fun.

Welcome! I look forward to seeing you two in the game. I have 6 characters, one for each class lol, three of which are 60 (TR, GF, and HR) I love to group in PvE and enjoy meeting new friends. I try to be on daily at least for prayers. Feel free to friend me ^.^

    Hi Kiyo !

    Hi Tii !

Dang: it's good to have some people around my age corner in this game. For most of the cases: I'm considered quite old, but here in fact most of my associates are about 5-7 years older than me (such side note on the age of regular FR fans).

First of all: I like your style guys! It's not too often (though more often lately) to find a gaming couple, and even more rare to see them with such interesting personality. I also rather try to avoid elitists and am happy to be a in a rather nice guild since my past experiences were not best (mostly once I was a guild leader or officer though... it makes you go nuts >_<). If you guys need any help 'in-game' call me :D. I might be not strongest person around but my main is close to 17k Grear Score and I have 4 characters capable of completing every dungeon there is by now.

Also great, great ,great welcome to Tii. We lack in my opinion drawing artists for now. We had several great ones but most probably due to Art section being 'not so active' they mostly disappeared -_-. It's SO SAD! Forgotten Realms are such treasury of lore which could inspire MASSIVE WONDERS of fanart! I still think we have tons of unused potential here. A potential which according to my short reviews would be very welcome on some conventions :D (thus my little ongoing project).

Tii I really, really invite You to aid my cause on: A.N.E.-chan Corner I started to run. I try to gather some active capable artists. Also I hope you'll not mind my style along with Kiyo... since both of your nicks sound like some of my friends . I think we can create some good things as Anthology. The 1st thing probably fanart bestiary or artifactory. The are soo many possibilities!

    MOST OF ALL: WELCOME :D

    Sincerely Yours ~Angry Neko Elf
