NW-DFK8X6A57 - The Lost Seneschal, act 1 Featured short code.

NW-DUDDTLD6S - The Lost Seneschal, act 1 is an adventure based in an old D&D module from 1989.

Updated to ver. 2.1

In the domion of Farstead, Sir Lucan (the Seneschal and tax collector) has vanished and no one is able to find him, so Lord Brennan (the third generation of his family to rule the dominion of Farstead) is looking for some valiant adventurers to find his most trusted advisor.

I'm very happy that since it was published I get 43 plays, and is growing up!!

I'm not happy with the caverns, maybe I will change the distribution of monsters, I'm having some issues with the adjustable difficulty and the number of encounters I can put on the map. I will add more lights too.

Thank you very much to all who played and more specially those who review it and tipped :)

    Playing through now.

1.) The portal out of the forest says "Go to Next Map".

2.) The house is set up a little weird. A barn for a bottom floor?

3.) Entering the cave says "Go to Next Map".

4.) Some of the enemies in the cave on Group difficulty have their costumes switched.

5.) I liked how you did that chest.

6.) The enemies in the cave could use some customization.

7.) The basilisk was a normal adventurer wizard? I'm assuming you meant to do something there.

8.) The cave door uses its original name.
Neverwinter players are stubborn things....until you strip them down to bone. (Cursed players, my flowers, MINE!) Oh how I plotted their demise.

Thank you very much Orangefiree for this review, I'm correcting these issues in version 1.2
    Playing through now.

1.) The portal out of the forest says "Go to Next Map".
    Corrected in version 1.2

2.) The house is set up a little weird. A barn for a bottom floor?
I did not want to use another map, so I used the barn as a "home." To prevent the player to waste more time. Also, I wanted to create a medieval house, where animals lived on the first floor and the humans in the second one.

3.) Entering the cave says "Go to Next Map".
    Corrected in version 1.2

4.) Some of the enemies in the cave on Group difficulty have their costumes switched.
Mmm, I used feywild and fomorian encounters with default costumes, there's an abolethic encounter too. But they are all default costumes, anyway, I'm re-doing all the encounters again in version 1.2

5.) I liked how you did that chest.
    :D

6.) The enemies in the cave could use some customization.
Good idea, I will try to customize some of them. Again in version 1.2

7.) The basilisk was a normal adventurer wizard? I'm assuming you meant to do something there.
Yes, that was a last change just before publish, and bang, I forgot to customize him into a Basilisk... or something similar, I'm correcting it in ver. 1.2 too.

8.) The cave door uses its original name.
    Corrected in version 1.2

I will put a switch with a magical bridge for those who don't like to jump.

I will try to re-publish as soon as possible. ;)

I played this on my level 18 TR. The story seems a bit disjointed but I won't hold that against you as those old quests tended to seem rather random (the pig, for example).
The maps are very well done and nicely detailed. My notes are mostly minor copy editing items. I see that you are planning on correcting the ones that Orangefiree found.

    Play through notes:

-In your first map the daises are all floating. It is really hard to place those, the wireframe box isn't placed well.
-Seneschal is typoed in the first conversation with Lord Brennan
-the line after that is awkward, I think it might be better if you tried something like: "And not only him, but I sent a squad of valuable men-at-arms to find him and they have also vanished."
-Sir should be capitalized in the next line and I think the last line would be better as "I haven't heard anything about an uprising yet."
-I like the detail work on the first map
-the text at the yellow portal to go to the Woodcutter's cottage reads "Press F to Go to go to Next Map." This is true for most of the map transitions. It is usually preferred if you customize this for your quest.
-you might want to change the Shadow's group name since at the moment it is still "Adventurer"
-I like how you managed the "staying for dinner" aspect!
-at the bed it says "Press F to You fall asleep". I know it is a pain to remember that anything you put in that text box has "Press F to" in front of it. Maybe "Press F to climb into bed."?
    -the dream was excellently done
-I liked the trap in the cave
-the door that is unlocked with the broach still has the default name and number on it

Thank you Melinden for this excellent review, I'm currently fixing these issues you found.

I'm not english, and I'm not proficiency with that language, so I really appreciate your advice. I was very afraid to do some grammar errors. Copy pasted and saved. :D

Well, about the pig and spiders... I will say foundry limitations... The pig must be a "fawn" and the spiders a menacing Mountain Lion. I could have used a panther, but I was lazy. Maybe I must use Feywild Wild Hunt Hound to make more sense, instead of spiders.

For this quest I really need the sprite and fawn companions, but they are not available right now, or at least I didn't find them. And that encounter will have more sense at chapter two, but I don't want to spoiler it. :p
