Acolyte of Kelemvor and Heroic Encounters in IWD

Hey there, Just wanted to report an interesting find over on the Preview server about the companion Acolyte of Kelemvor.
First of all everyone should know the Heroic Encounters are not like the other Encounters in Sharandar and Dread Ring. You have to be on point on these things to solo them. And the rewards in them are better the faster you can clear them. Plus... no matter how many people are trying to "kill steal" everyone gets the rewards at the end regardless so long as you participate. And you can't just faceroll everything in these, unlike the standard encounters in Sharandar or Dread Ring. You will die if you don't put actual effort into beating them. You can't run around and just laugh at them while they mosquito bite you. They will kill you.
But I recently tried them out with the Acolyte of Kelemvor companion (in place of my normal Ioun Stone), which gives a 10% damage reduction when its out... and if you stack it with Lifesteal, its secondary power gives you enormous amounts of lifesteal. I was beating them with a large amount of Health at the end.
At first I thought they'd nerfed the Heroic Encounters because I was clearing, and surviving them much more handily with the Acolyte.
But it didn't take to long to find out they hadn't, if the Companion when down, they could paste me in a hurry if I let my guard down and my health ended always below half or more even then.
The Acolyte when combined with the AoE powers of the Mage at a 15k GS. Lifesteals so much on a single mass mob nuke that even at the reduced damage without Ioun Stone its like Potioning every time you nuke. Yeah your milage may vary with lower gear scores, and this is specific to IWD at present.
So....
If you're in a position to have to solo these things, the Acolyte may very well be a better option than Ioun, as the large amounts of damage the Heroic Encounter Mobs are capable of, is negated with this specific Companion and large AoEs nukes.
NOTE: on the MAJOR Heroic encounters like the Remoraz, no this still wont do you any good, those are epic and designed for everyone in the zone to take on so you may as well go with Ioun on them.

I don't know the specifics, I know its a short buff much like the cleric companion. But the Acolyte does it repeatedly over and over.
I also cannot talk about the Epic version of this companion. I only have the blue level one at 25th rank.
I have 504 Lifesteal base.
I have 340 worth of lifesteal on the companion
On a Chill Strike doing 5700 damage, the lifesteal with this companion was 740 points. So whatever the multiplier is for this companion its enormous.
The Lifesteal buff it gives you says it multiplies its level times plus the pets current lifesteal to arrive at that number somehow. There is nothing giving any specific numbers. BUT the pet's multiplier for Lifesteal must be enormous.
While some of these heroic encounters are easily soloable, some are apparently insanely hard. Not sure, maybe there is a trick I missed, but as you said... definitely not the cupcake encounters of DR & Shar.
One thing to point out in case anyone is wondering... you take an injury if you are killled in PvP.... even in the domination area.
