CW Sudden Storm dealing zero damage

Yesterday, as usual, playing with my CW, Sudden Storm is performing just fine in both encounter and Spell mastery slots.

Today, not so much. In regular encounter slot, point blank range, it does zero damage. In Spell Mastery slot, not only does it do zero damage, but now the arcing visual is gone.

All other encounter spells work properly in regular slots and Spell Mastery. This is the only one that is giving me trouble.

Please help as Sudden Storm is a staple for me on the battlefield.

Bump. I don't want to come across this when I get this encounter power. Hope they fix it for you.

Might be a bit silly but have you tried it on an actual enemy yet, since they updated the dummies so they can no longer die some spells dont seem to work all the time, icy terrain no longer deals damage to the dummies for me.

Yeah you need to try it on real enemies or try it on the dread ring dummies , Untabbed is working just fine for me on the dread ring training dummies didn't try tabbed but I'm guessing it works fine too.

I realize that the dummies are, well, dummies, and don't behave properly. However, I practiced long and hard on my timing in Trade of Blades when choosing that encounter spell. I have seen the affects. I have seen it register in the log the correct damage taken by the spell, any arc damage and any Storm spell it proc'd.
If I had felt the need to take screenshots of it working correctly then I would produce them.

I've never noticed the issue you're having then , I've had sudden storm on my bar for pve play since tabbed entangling force's huge ap gain got nerfed a few months back and I swapped SS in and removed entangling force , tomorrow when I do my dailies I'll keep a close eye on my combat log for it not doing damage then I'll have a 15-30 minutes on the dummies to see if I can recreate the issue you're having.

Thank you iambecks1. I swapped mine out for the same reason and was having moderately successful gain with SS. I went back to steal time until it seems to be working properly.
