Mere of Dead Men - Missing Children, by
@Gruffydd
Short Code: NW-DUP7DDKNW
Mission Type: Combination of story and combat, classic "D&D Module" style
Average Duration: currently at 38 minutes
Amount of Combat: moderate, mostly on the second of two maps
Starts at: Any travel gate
Mission Summary: Some children have gone missing in the remote village at Shipwreck Bay, near the Mere of Dead Men. A plea for help has been sent to Neverwinter, but with current events no official response could be sent. Can you find the children before something terrible happens to them?
Author tips/hints: You'll get more out of this quest by exploring than you will by zerging through on the sparkle trail.
Screenshots/attachments: Sorry, no hi-res links... if you want to see the pretty pictures, please try the quest. I attached some low-res pics, but it's my first try at doing so, so not sure how they'll turn out. Again, please try the quest, it looks so much better than a few screen shots.
Thanks.

I played with my level 60 DC. You actually have a good number of plays on this and this is my 3rd time playing through this particular story so it is true I have been directing my attention to new foundry authors or quests that I haven't commented on before. You've clearly done a lot of work on this quest and the sets are very good. I can't comment on the story so much as it has remained the same. I did make the "bad" choice this time, however.
Play through notes:
-there are some nice new lore details like the archway
-I like the new interior map
-the option for more light is a nice touch
-the caves have a very effective claustrophobic feel to them. This could be hard on HRs?
If you have the time I would appreciate it if you could play Rescue in the Silver Marches. Thanks!

Over the last few days I've seen a significant increase in the number of people playing (and rating) the quest, and it's good to know that people are playing and - based on the ratings - enjoying what I worked so hard to create. So again, thank you for giving it a play, and I'm glad you had fun with it.
