With the intro to Tenacity in PVP gear I started leveling a hunter. Just for giggles. I noticed a fatal flaw an advantage that HR's have in low level brackets over any other class. They can consistently top the score boards. Now you are saying who cares. Topping the score boards means nothing and you are ABSOLUTELY correct. Yet due to the poor scoring mechanism it leaves HR's open to get the best gear while leveling.
You can consistently place in the top 1 or 2 places. This means you will always get a blue or green pvp item. This means you will have better gear then most pvp levelers. This means that you are at the advantage. I am not sure how fair this is really. Even if your team loses you still get blue gear if you are in the number one slot.
If you do nothing and just become a split shot hero what happens you contributed nothing but filler damage and played bad but you get top spot therefore better rewards. It is almost like the system rewards you for playing bad. There is a way to fix this I am sure.
I am not sure how this can be fixed. If this should be fixed. I do not think it is fair. I almost do not want to level my HR via PVP but I make a lot of friends doing it and people always ask me to group with them. I suppose I can do the same with Dungeons but it just is not the same.

I have a lvl 30 HR and I PvP on it daily for a week or so. Never ended up top. Basically each match I had to backcap and die repeatedly because nobody in my team could do it. Each match I had to play with people that tried to kill GWFs first and so on.
I wish I would be in your situation to be honest, and maybe from now on I'll play more selfishly.
By the way, I didn't move my enchants&perfect vorpal and didn't buy mulhorand gear even though I could easily do so. I think that this is full on cheating and won't do it.

Think I am lucky out of about 50 matches only lost 3. For the most part I have been grouped with some REALLY good groups and largely in part we been running together. We know we are leveling together and via PVP and when someone sees you are good at what you do they invite you to a group and you just keep on adding people to the group and before you know it you have a low-level full on pre-made. I know that is kinda cheating but we are here to level. So yeah my experiences may be different then the normal experiences.
Edit
Ex: You can see more points then just from kills it is from forward capping back capping and kills. Also it demonstrates my point.

I almost always ended up in first place when doing lower levels PvP, with all classes. Most people are fresh new and have no idea how to play the game, specially PvP. If you are experienced chances are that you'll top score boards playing any class, just like I did.

Another good possibility. Might be another strong reason. I do have a PVE hunter I play on at times so I know the class pretty well. Yet still this is not fair to new players then. Why do they have to suffer not being able to get gear because they are new? They will keep getting bad and worse as the gear divide steepens. You think they are gonna want to play end game PVP if they keep getting one shotted constantly? I feel that perhaps the whole winning team should get gear. It does not have to be blue gear. It can be green gear just as long as it is enough to keep these new players alive long enough and do enough damage to at least have some fighting chance.
After thought: low level DD everyone regardless how long they have played is guaranteed blue gear at the end of the dungeon. Might not be what you want but it is for your class and better then most green gear. Why not something like that for pvp?

The only class I found to be good in backcapping is TR (at low levels). If I see my team losing I always try to backcap and barely have enough points to be in top 5. If I play selfishly I always end up first. It depends on playstyle. Even tho, HR seems to be the best choice to carry your team.
M6 almost drains your soul given how boring it is. (c) joocycuzzzzzz
