At first i thought this game had the worst optimization ever, but the game itself was so good that i didnt care much if i lagged or had constant stutters.
But i checked how many resources Arc takes up while im playing the game, and ARC, takes up almost 50% of my CPU power while im playing the game, thats ridiculous, i was also lagging while playing Hearthstone and was like wtf, cant i play this game independent of Arc so that i can stop lagging in-game?
Or is there a solution to Arc taking up ridiculous amounts of CPU power?

Hey, please feel free to send any feedback and issues to the Arc Community Manager, sparkiesoft, or send an email to feedback@arcades.com
Arc should not be drawing a lot of resources and while I do not personally use it other people I know who do use it do not have this issue. More than likely it has something to do with the specifics of your system.

Really? You dont use it while playing the game? How?
By the way i cant find the guy Sparkiesoft on the forums.
Can you upload that launcher somewhere and give it to me? Ill gladly use that over Arc.
Do not do that. It's a security risk and a violation of the Terms of Service.
You can just explore your directory and launch the Neverwinter.exe if you do not want to use Arc at the moment. That ability will ultimately go away but that is not going to happen for a long while.
I can't remember the exact default directory but it may be C:/User/Public/Games/CrypticStudios/ if I recall correctly.

I already sent a feedback e-mail, thanks for telling me that btw, i dont want to have something in the background eating 30-40% of my CPU while im playing.
Funny thing is that the game itself takes up less CPU power than Arc does.
Edit: I just noticed that my posts are agressive, im sorry about that.
Download Neverwinter trough Steam, this way you don't have Arc. You get the old launcher, you can even copy the folder from Steam if you don't want to use it trough Steam.

Haha, your posts are not aggressive. Definitely passionate but they did not cross to aggressive.
If things don't work people get upset. As long as they do not get rude, which you did not, it doesn't phase me but I appreciate that you were concerned about that.
Thanks for sending the e-mail. That is a huge amount of CPU consumption and is certainly not normal.
I have used ARC extensively since day 1. I have never seen that amount of CPU usage. I have 4GB of RAM and the most I have seen it use is 150MB and I have ARC running all the time. So something is up with your system.

Thats the amount of RAM that it uses, not the CPU power.
The game can be downloaded through Steam? Holy balls im going there right now, im using Steam 24/7.
It doesn't use alot of CPU power. Like I have said I have used it from Day 1. You are blaming a program when it is more than likely your system is being bottlenecked. What is your system specs. Right now ARC is using no CPU power even tho it is running. My Dreamweaver program is using about the same CPU power as you said ARC was using and Dreamweaver is a much bigger program.

He has old beta launcher I guess. I also do because I find that imposed Arc disgusting.
Not to mention I have to pay for each of MB I spend while surfing.
