So... what about that? what is the point in domination to use mounts?
I believe it is unnecessary and for some players it is unfair.. you see having a very fast mount can be a huge advantage in domination (add that to the already existing PVP problems and you have an even more unbalanced gameplay) Imagine having 2 pl in a team with purple mount and none in the other. The team with no purple mounts will be defeated almost every time (if not all the time)
And yes, not every one can aford having purple mounts for their chars..also what about the alts? shouldn't the alts have the opportunity to be good at PVP?
And (answering to replys that i've forseen) no, the mount and the equipments (armors, weaps, artifacts etc..) + enchants are 2 different things..
If not, then why the hell not be able to use companions as well? it is the same logic..
Nevertheless, in my opinion.. we should be able to use augmentation companions (cat, stones) but (just for the love of logic) not mounts.
2 companions?? as i said only the augment companions should be allowed.. and those you must summon to get the bonuses (not including the 'active bonus' which is not a big deal) and you may have only one summoned..
however, if they were to allow stones and cats to be used they should also add one stone (green) to be purchasable from the pvp vendor for glory..

Wow retread your post please.. Your complaining about people with epic grade mounts creating imbalance.. Now you want to add augmented companions. Wait for it... Yeah brilliant idea. More imbalance for people that can't afford blue stones vs green stones vs no stones. More GS imbalance through pets they can add over 3k gear score. So no letting companions in pvp is a broken idea. However if you wait for open world pvp in module 3 guess what you will have your companions and mounts and groups of players crazy geared player ganking other players because of no Elo system. I'm just waiting for the complaints about that.
But really think about it. Usually people that invest in epic mounts pay a little money to make other things easier. So I would say there is an association between people that buy epic mounts usually have a rather decently geared character. Not always true though.
As for no mounts
GWFs, TRs and HRs will have huge advantage because of their mobility. Another class imbalances.
As for augment companions
Another 7k+ HP and some tenacity? Please no.

So you really want now to have another 6 enchants to spend on leveling for PvP, when you cannot afford a mount?
OK...
People won't like it when they come to fight against others that have 6 r10s on augments+3 more pieces of BiS gear.

Companions in pvp is a terribad idea.
Also epics mounts go on the AH as low as 350k. It's just not that bad.
It is an issue though that because of the reduction in Glory gains, buying and salvaging items is no longer a feasible method of gaining AD, and it was never that great to begin with. There is no way of gaining AD by PvPing, aside from the daily (very low), which means you will practically never been able to earn an epic mount (or any enchantments, for that matter) by PvPing. I'm glad that PvPers can now take part in gear progression without having to do mind-numbingly dull dungeons over and over and over again, but when it comes to other "peripherals" like mounts and enchants, there's simply no way to earn them in PvP because ALL your gains are going to gear.
Companions in PvP would greatly exacerbate this problem... along with basically every other already existing problem in PvP, along with creating many of its own new problems. Just please, no.
First of all if you buy one epic mount from the zen store you have an epic mount on all characters. Unless you buy from a lockbox mount etc. You can trade ad for zen at the zen exchange in game. Mounts also only get you back into the fight faster.
Augment pets provide a bunch of power, crit, hp, recovery when you have bis gear in them. The power creep from such an idea is insane. While tenacity is poorly implemented imo, the general idea of it was to seperate pve and pvp so that the power creep needed in pve for people to chase new gear wouldn't turn pvp into a whoever strikes first wins no matter what battle where ping time and reaction speed determine matches entirely. A good example of what they're trying to avoid is if you check out the other dnd game on the market where players have 1-2k hp and can crit for 20k+. There is a pvp option in that game but it's completely unused because the only thing that matters in it is who swings first and there is zero balance. Allowing augments into pvp would bring the game closer to that situation and should be avoided in a game that wants to actually have a pvp mode.

To this poster, uhh, it's called sarcasm.
I agree with OP even though I'm one of the people with a 110% mount, even though said mounts are easily earnable with in-game methods (I mean come on, a Kwalish is like 500k AD, thats nothing). However, really, its tough to draw the line. This game will always be somewhat pay-to-win, as a lot of good gear & all enchants/refining stuff is BoE and therefore technically purchasable with real world money... and we can't go banning people from using enchants in pvp, right?
