Forest Ghost Etc

I've played EQ for 11 years as a Ranger first off I love the Class. Does Forest Ghost decrease threat at all? If not it should it just seems to be a pause button for me dying, when I generate more threat on me then seems a tank can keep. Also if they could add some running ground effect for Split the sky It would help ton for positioning. Fire a metal arrow into ground like a lighting rod kinda effect.
