Hello,
This issue was brought up by a few people in the past, but it seems like it has not received needed attention yet. The Trickster Rogue skill, Vengeance Pursuit, (which is a unique Whisper Knife paragon skill), states the following in its description:
"Throw a dagger at a target, designating them for vengeance. While your vengeance hangs above them, the target deals reduced damage. As a follow-up power, you may reactivate this ability to break free of control effects and teleport to your previously designated target, dealing damage around you (deals reduced damage to non-targets)."
The issue with the skill is that the second activation does not break free from control effects as stated. The most obvious example of this would be attempting to activate the second portion of the move while under the CW control effect "Entangling Force". However, it seems this issue occurs with all CC skills. The move does not break any CC upon second activation as stated.
Again, this issue was brought up in the past, but action was never taken. Here is a link to the old thread and some others who have mentioned running into the issue as well:

The Whisper Knife paragon path for rogue is almost never used. The main reason for this is because the path lacks the Master Infiltrator move Impossible to Catch, which provides deflection, but more importantly, CC immunity for a short duration. Fixing Vengeance Pursuit to break free from control effects as is stated in its description would be a large aid in making the Whisper Knife path more viable.
Thank you for your attention in this matter.
Kind regards,
Godlysoul

since this is a post for vengefull pursuit i find something that also should be addressed (i was about to open a new thread)
specially, with the second part of the power, i don't know if it's just me, but it seems to happen all the time
- First the teleportation animations seems to take too long, almost for a complete second the character just stand there before actually teleporting. And while is still standing, you still can be targeted, hit and also, stunned, dazed, and paralized (pvp and pve equally) interrupting the action.
- Secondly, if you try to teleport while still moving it takes even longer, almost like it tries to cancel the animation or something,
- Sometimes (this not being very often but still bugs me) if the oponent it's above you but still on your sight (like midle of the stairs) it does not teleport, much like when you activate it and you lost it from sight
I think the rest seems to work fine, but please fix this delay. I don't mind the fact that if you lost it from sight, you can't teleport, i think it's correct, but it might be a second ( if you are moving some times more) , but sometimes that second was enough, let's say "to walk behind a column or corner", and then it doesn't teleport since it's out of sight.
