[BUG] Guardian Fighter Encounter "Anvil of Doom"

If you are in the middle of a jump when activating this ability, it will not hit.
This is easily proven using the training dummies in trade of blades; simply stand right next to the dummy, jump and use Anvil of Doom, there will be no damage even though the animation goes through.
this can be very problematic in PVP, please look into it.
UPDATE Bug #2 with Anvil of Doom: I have found another bug. I am specced into it in the Tactician tree for a 1 second stun, but when my feat Crushing Pin should be applied for 3 second debuff when i use a control power, it is only being applied for 1 second when Anvil of Doom is used as the control power.
I found specced Lunging strike and Bull Rush to be applying Crushing Pin for the full 3 seconds, however specced Anvil of doom only applies the debuff for 1 second.
