Behind your Zen and Astral Diamonds there is a greater force at work that is controlling what you buy and the price. A small handful of players have been working the market for quite some time now, and they have mastered the art of making profit through purchases. These players are both wealthy and powerful. Their profits have led to some of the most powerful gear and enchantments at their disposal. They were once self-made successes, but they have begun to start working together. They have begun making a syndicate in Waterdeep, the capital of trading, and they are looking for other wealthy merchants like themselves. What ever you do, do not join them. They lurk around the Auction House in Neverwinter, picking out new initiates who are worthy of their standards. We can not allow such a Guild of nobles to come together. The outcome could change the world of Faerûn as we know it.
