Maybe I'm crazy, but I love this!

It's exactly the 'do stuff that has some relevance on a small device while away from the PC' that I've been railing about for several years.

And it's kinda fun... I'm actually enjoying it far more than the actual game -- I'm incredibly frustrated by the abandonment of Foundry (yet again... burned twice, Cryptic!) and the constant conniving money grubbing in the core game.

But grab some companions and go run dungeons? That's freakin D&D, man!

So, kudos, Cryptic. Great idea and this little time waster is actually encouraging me to go play the real game again -- if only to level up my companions.
Campaign: The Fenwick Cycle NWS-DKR9GB7KH

Wicks and Things: NW-DI4FMZRR4 : The Fenwick merchant family has lost a caravan! Can you help?

Beggar's Hollow: NW-DR6YG4J2L : Someone, or something, has stolen away many of the Fenwicks' children! Can you find out what happened to them?

Into the Fen Wood: NW-DL89DRG7B : Enter the heart of the forest. Can you discover the secret of the Fen Wood?

Yup... I call this my "lunch-time filler" as I play it while eating my lunch at work almost everyday... Or, at least that's what I tell the boss ;)

I find it fun, but even with a mix of blue/green companions your only playing up to t3, t4 and above need all solid blues and mix of purples apparently, so your locked out of the really advanced stuff.

Ive done it a few times but havent in awhile since I dont have multiple purples companions to bring to the game.

i only have 1 blue companion (no purples) and have usually no problems at all with T4. but your correct in that T5 and T6 need better than greens.

SCA Tier 6 Minimum Req: 2 Purple, 2 blue
    Result: ~50% success

The more purples, the better obviously... However, you will need a good mix up of spell abilities to do it none the less.

Can you keep playing lower tiers and get -something-?

I have one purple, one green, and whites, so I'm not going to get far.

(And while this has mildly revived my interest in the game, mildly doesn't equal 'spending $90 for a phone game')

your whites can get to max level of 15, so you should be able to go up to tier 3 or 4. if you look at the tiers, they tell you what ranks the companions are best suited for (tier 2 is like rank 5-10 companions)
