Pretty rare to find in AH yet really cheap.. seems to go well with ArP stats.. might be even more efficient than PlagueFire.
Day1 of testing.. and it seems for constant, sustained damage increase + team-level target focusing PF is better.
However, in 1v1 situations and damage spiking, BW actually seems better.
Anybody else got any interesting anecdotes about Bronzewood?
(ps) excellent synergy with AoE powers as well. Almost makes me think try to find ways to use Blitz in PvP..
(ps2) 16% ArP from BW seems definately more powerful than 45% defense debuff from PF. Not sure if its placebo, but interestingly, but the effect seems to apply to damage from the very first attack as well..
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

Interesting find. I might try one myself - 60k AD really is cheap for an enchantment. But based on the tooltip, you can only mark "once every 20 seconds" - but how long does the debuff last?

Well assuming the PF debuff reduces all forms of defences (including mitigation skills/powers and damage resist) Then logically it should be better than brozewood.

Perhaps. But it seems the "defense debuff" of PF seems to be very narrowly defined -- the 'Defense' stat which usually is the source where most classes derive around 2/3rds of their damage resistance from.
I'm guessing the "ignores armor" is basically the same thing as ArP stat -- so I'm guessing this is actually 16% additional ArP, when combined with the character's own (in my case 24%), would equate to 40% ArP in total.

10 seconds. That means 50% of the time.
It's also very synergetic with way the In/Out WK style fights, since we 'mark' with VP, deal damage, and then escape. I'm guessing it might be less efficient for -- a normal MI, for instance, since tactically MIs put up constant harassment from range. In our case, the 10 sec duration is almost the same as the 9sec VP mark duration -- which means while we are on the "attack mode" after marking HP, the effect will last through until the VP-DaS combo, and then wear off around the time we bugger out and go back into stealth.

I wonder if it works in conjunction with the ArPen stat... Considering the soft cap for bosses would be 24% resistance ignored, would it then give you extra damage through the already negated damage resistance using a bronzewood?
