Mount refining

No one rides sleds or pigs or the 50%/80% event or zen store mounts, too expensive to upgrade. Refining alternative

50%/rank 1 mount requires 100K RP to upgrade to 80%/rank 2 mount
80%/rank 2 mount requires 30k RP to upgrade to 110%/rank 3 mount

Shards give double RP because they can be used to make horse shoes.

Maybe people will actually buy your overpriced slow zen store mounts then.

I saw a sled just yesterday.
And I only ride 50% mounts (warthogs and a pig).
And you can already guy Mount Training Tomes.

A better solution to wide spread use of slower mounts and making more money for PWE:

Re-skin mounts at a reasonable AD cost. If you have a purple mount, perhaps one that you purchased from the Zen store, but are lucky enough to get a green drop in game that you really like for a particular character, like the Shadow Wolf for instance, let us pay a reasonable AD cost to transmute the purple mount with the green.

I would like to see this. I have a Shadow Wolf mount that I love, but it is so slow compared to my purple spider mount. I've love to upgrade it, but it's really hard to justify the current mount training costs.

    Yes, great idea.

May I ask how we improve our mounts. I have the armored blue, 80% from the Zen stored and I wondered if that can be improved?

There are Mount Training books available BUT you would probably be best off buying a purple ZEN mount which will be useable on every character you ever make.
