Greetings. I am Dail McRock, a guardian of the realm. My issue is of a somewhat delicate nature, so I must ask that you not laugh at a gentleman such as myself. It concerns ... well, it concerns my undergear. It chafes and pinches. Yes, it is nice to have the protection of a Guardian's Embroidered Gambeson and Superb Plate Pants, both crafted by my own expert staff. Yet, what I would trade for smooth cotton against my limbs and (ehem) parts.
Is it too much to ask that tailors could fashion undergear for all those that protect the realm? I would gladly give up some "protection" if it would avoid being pinched during battle by my very own gear.

I understand you well, good sir. Also I do not understand why (otherwise very skilled) tailors insist on embroidering my pants with gems. It may look fancy, but those things are rather uncomfortable.
