Do the ticks of DoTs proc High Prophet Armor set's ability, or is it only the initial attack?
For example. If i hit someone with brandof the Sun, i figure hte first counts, but then do the following ticks count as well or do i need to hit the target with a new attack?
Simple answer: No, DoTs do not add stacks.
When HP was broken and could stack past 3 we would try this but only the initial hit adds a stack. So this means you have to continuously hit the monster with your spells. This is one of the downfalls of HP. No continuous hitting->no stacks This is why HP is better in boss fights.
If you do want to add a debuff to all adds you can use searing light during a singularity. However, it will only be one stack and it will go away pretty soon after on most adds ( if you pulled a lot)
I have another question, If i use High Prophet set + Terrify Class ability + Prophecy of Doom + Any Terror Enchantment + D.Glow + Daunting Light (with feat that adds a debuff for it) will they all stack?
I have a related question that I'm going to put here rather than start a new thread: Does Burning Guidance proc High Prophet debuff? What about Plaguefire or other weapon enchants?
