Dread Ring solo instance epics. Are they tied to daily quests ?

Today I picked up Death Forge quest as I need the epic drops from the back.

The quest description states that you will receive a Thayan Zealot armor or ring.

So I cleared the instance, looted the bag and did not receive any epic drop. The last this happened it also effect my character not being able to get epic items from Dungeon Delve chest.

So can anyone clarify if the quests which offer the Dread Spire Treasure Trove are linked to dailies as clearly I should have gotten an epic item.

    It is (or should be described as) a chance to loot an Epic item.

    Also the Lairs are not linked to the other dailies in the Dread Ring.

    The description says you will receive ONE OF THE FOLLOWING , Death Forge loot window is identical to this one apart from different drops listed(the legendary stuff on the list is actually epic , the orange is a display bug ) -

    You may get the blue or purple items described or you may get random stuff. The only fixed loot are the greater marks and then only on the given days. Mondays and Fridays don't drop marks. My WK rogue did PF everytime it came up during the week and chose it as her option every Saturday and Sunday. She's finished getting the boons and is working on gauntlets/farming Union marks and still hasn't gotten the purple mainhand.

    I asked because last week I was running dungeons during the delve event and not getting the bonus chest items at the end. Submitted various tickets but nothing helped. In the end I deleted all my quests and the it bonus chest items appeared again, so I presumed it was tied to me having old daily quests.

    Oddly enough I was not getting any DS epics during this time but did get bow after clearing my quest log.

    Actually sounds more like you were at your quest limit so you couldn't get the dungeon delve quest, but that should have no effect on the lairs.

    Happened again today.

    "Chest Unlocked" completed Throne of Idris epic and when I opened the chest it was all blues and not a single class epic.

    I'm beginning to think my character is just bugged.

    No you aren't bugged ,you just seem to be having really bad luck , T1 epic dungeon has a 5% chance of containing only blues. - http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Dungeon_Delve#Dungeon_Delve_chest_drop_rates
